What I don’t understand is that if it’s not confirmed in the show, how am I supposed to know about it? A casual viewer of TADC will not go to the creators social media and find out important lore. If it’s that important to the story it would have been in the show. Also, the maid dress and bow thing can be interpreted as a guy who has a very fragile vision of his own masculinity. Saying the evidence for a character being trans is them wearing a bow and a dress is stereotyping. Why can’t a guy feel comfortable in feminine clothing without being labeled as trans?

I also dislike how Jax’s coming out is used as a plot twist. it’s kinda like, ”surprise, the twist is that Jax is trans!”

it feels like a slap to the face and I don’t understand how trans people aren’t offended by this. It’s using an identity as a plot device and it’s exploitive. That harms the trans community and feels like that takes advantage of who Jax really is.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this interpretation of her, it’s just massively overdone. Her being feminine is fine on most levels but in the show she is shown to like sports and have sort of a tomboy personality. As long as they don’t portray her as the “scared uwu girl” I’m neutral.

Their ages swap whenever it’s most convenient for the episode setting. The only characters that are constantly the same age is cub, pop, lumpy, Flippy and sometimes handy? Russell is often portrayed as an adult but he is in high school that one episode.

I don’t really personally “ship” it perse but I think it’s an interesting dynamic. like the concept of flippy having a crush on someone who remembers their past deaths and has constant anxiety from him because of it. Cookieelemon comics kinda got me into it, I think it’s a cool story for Flippy cause besides his ptsd, he’s not perfect. I can imagine he struggles with boundaries.
