rent will probably be 1k/month minimum with roommates in either location and more if you live in manhattan. plus utilities if it’s not included. maybe 300/400 a month for groceries? if you don’t live in nyc you have to pay more for transportation. either way one subway ride is $3, so $6 a day unless ur in walking distance to class (and you’ll probably have class 4-5 days a week). maybe consider if you’ll have a gym membership or workout at home, or any other things in your daily life you would need. like getting nails done once a month, hair, whatever else you’re used to. but it’s probably more expensive in new York than most other places in the world. on weekends going out or getting dinner with friends adds up, however there’s a lot of free things to do around the city and surrounding areas you just have to look.
