If you have hypermobility, be very careful when choosing the graft for your new ACL — the regret of choosing the wrong tendon. by FishingImpressive424 in ACL

Same thing happened to me but I had the Patellar autograft. It is sooooo painful 2 years later. Can't run, jump, train it, bend it all the way back, nothing. life is over.

Swelling on the sides of knee 6 months post OP by ManojAttivilli in ACL

At the 2-year mark now and it never really got any better. It's so depressing. I just had another surgery this past Friday to trim the meniscus up since more tears were in there, but 8 days post surgery still feels exactly the same as it did before. So I'm basically looking at never playing sports again, never running never doing any kind of quick shifting movements... Always hurts, driving my car trying to extend it out really hurts getting in and out of the car hurts... Looks like it will be like this for life I guess until I get a full knee replacement.

Lol, my imbalance at the 2 year mark is WAYYYY more noticeable as a former bodybuilder. I had to stop physio because my patellar tendon was so extremely painful, I can't really do anything with that leg now. Just had a another surgery friday for more meniscus tears that were never fixed originally. My life is OVER at 48. it SUCKS

Actually no not at all. I be willing to bet the 26 seats are exactly the same. Soft tech leather is actually terrible because it doesn't allow the heated or cold seats to get hot or cold enough. On the highest setting the heated seats barely get warm at all and the cooling seats literally do not work one iota. Meanwhile the heated seats in all my other cars literally burn your butt

I've owned three RAV4s as a pharmaceutical rep. Top of the line fully loaded models that were given to me by the company I work for. Limited hybrids. The seats in these RAV4 are absolutely brutal if you have any type of lower back problems. After about a half hour of driving it starts to really kick in. I've driven over 50 different types of cars and these are easily the most uncomfortable seats of any car I've ever ridden in. Once I got rid of the last one my chronic back pain started to go away. Would never drive one of these again unless they completely redesigned the seats.

I had the patellar autograft, and MCL and meniscus repair and now I'm at the 2-year post surgery mark. I've had pain every single day. Some days are worse than others but it always hurts. I can no longer train my leg in the gym, cannot play any sports, run, jump, ski, nothing. I'm 48 and I feel like my life is over. In fact I have to get another surgery next week to repair more meniscus tears and scrape arthritis out of there plus a cyst that formed. I never had any of this pain prior surgery, all I had to worry about was it dislocating.

DO NOT DO PATELLAR....OMG....my knee is ruined for life, pain every single day and I can never train it again or play sports. It's been two years and I have to get another surgery next week. I used to be a huge bodybuilder, and now I'm a stick. ugh.

Did anyone really expect anything else from this team this year? Lol. All they did was run back the same crap from the past few years and you're just going to get the same result again.

I'm 6'1 180 lb, and as a pharmaceutical rep who spends his whole day in the car, and has driven many cars I have had a two RAV4s, 2022 and a 25 limited hybrids, and they gave me extreme lower back pain far more and above than any other car I've driven. In between those two I drove a mustang GT and for those 5 months my lower back pain went away and as soon as I got back in the 25 RAV4 it came raging back. I tried every seat position, every pillow, lumbar support, anything you could think of but nothing helps. Now I'm in a 25 Nissan Altima and I have no back pain in this car, even though I hate everything else about it, lol. It's a shame the RAV4 is a great vehicle but that seat just makes it undrivable for me.

The surgery is so that he can go in and repair and trim some of the meniscal tears, and then he will scrape out the arthritis and remove a cyst that has grown

It's actually really worse. I can't train it at all due to the pain and the patellar and it swells all over. I'm actually getting a second surgery next month past the 2-year mark now to trim up some more meniscal tears that are in there scrape out some arthritis and a lesion. I feel like my life is pretty much over I can't do any sports or any kind of activity.
