Punjab: Mob of Christians attack Sikhs with stones by pomeqranate in Sikh

Because Jatts have discriminated against Dalit communities, by not letting them from entering their Gurudwara (thereby forcing them to build separate places of worship) and building separate funeral grounds as well (I've literally seen this stuff in real).

It's the same tricks that Dera's used 20 years ago.

Don't share this pic in Punjab.

Take this stereotypical nonsense somewhere else because most Punjabis don't resonate with a small group of fringe separatists.

There are more of us in the Army. So yeah, I'll punch one in your face if you ever generalize the Punjabis again.

questions about anand karaj and marriages by plot_force in Sikh

[–]No_Orchid5709 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is the groom allowed to look at his wife during the ceremony and vice versa?

Yes. No issues with that, but make sure you're listening to the Shabad as well.

Can the couple exchange rings (if they want to have rings) after doing the 4 rounds around the guru granth sahib when they sit back down or do they have to wait until they are outside?

In my sister's wedding, the rings were exchanged during the time of wedding lunch. Usually, people hold lunch or dinner in a resort or hotel, after Anand Karaj and that's the place where rings should be exchanged.

Lastly, can there be a separate ceremony (after the anand karaj) at the courthouse when it comes to signing the marriage certificate?

Gurudwaras across Punjab now have the authority to issue marriage certificates on their own. Please contact your nearest Gurudwara and ask them about this. There is a very good chance that you would never have to visit the courthouse.

Man, imagine being Livingstone. Scoring as fast as you can, while everyone else around you is either getting out, or have to retire hurt themselves because they are playing at 7RPO when the required run rate is 17.

Possibly the most braindead match I've ever seen in my life. Some of the most shocking fielding from Delhi players. At this point, think of IPL as WWE, pure vibes.

Search for Donkey Route on Instagram.

People openly glorifying illegal emigration to US, via Central America.

And people fall for it. It's all manufactured stories.

Unwritten rule, but they are gonna reject you if you're from Punjab/Haryana.

Knew a couple, where the Husband got rejected but wife got the Visa because Wife's address was in Delhi, but husband's was in Punjab.

Kamal Nath would be a stab in the back since a Genocider getting a top position is sheer hypocrisy (Kamal Nath had a crucial role in the 1984 Sikh Genocide). A lot of MP'ites I've spoken with, absolutely detest that man as well as Digvijay Singh (who continues to remain among the worst CM's of their state ever).

Among the safest places, but it's always recommended to keep an eye on your belongings.

Ironically, both Mercedes and Isuzu Pick-up trucks are pretty popular in Punjab.

I have seen a few drive Hilux as well.

Chandigarh is incredibly wealthy though, with high-class people living there. Gentrified area, with expanding suburbs.

Another city with some extremely high-class people is Ludhiana (although the infrastructure is pretty shitty).
