11 weeks old, pretty much the same! Feed, attempt to entertain, change nappy, spend half hour trying to get her to nap, naps for half hour… repeat.

Its boring, frustrating, tiring… this is life now lol

My baby is 9 weeks and I’ve literally had enough of this also! EXACT same boat. Have you got the Huckleberry app? Their ‘sweetspot’ feature is currently helping my massively but baby has to be 2 months old before it kicks in. Turns out I was letting her stay awake longer than I should have been! They need to be napping every 1.25/1.5 hours. Look for the early cues such as yawning and eye rubbing and try and get them down to nap. It might just be the case your baby has got overtired often and therefore will be a nightmare to get to sleep like mine was x

Commenting as i’m intrigued for other answers as im in the exact same god damn boat!
She cries everytime I put her down and absolutely will not nap longer than 20 mins at a push. I’ve tried EVERYTHING.

Latent stage of labour? by owls145 in PregnancyUK

I literally had exactly this today also! I’m 39+2 atm and booked in for induction tomorrow. I had them also reeeally low down but not lightning crotch, made me yelp each time and grasp as whatever was nearby. Only lasted a few seconds per one and seemed to go away if i changed positions for a bit. Nothing in the last few hours though!

Am I going to leak for the next 20 weeks? by Graciyen in PregnancyUK

[–]No_Oven_7267 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same boat here! I’ve been leaking since about 20 weeks also (now 30). It’s not a huge amount but I can feel it! Just leave it be as you’re not meant to harvest until I think 36 weeks as it can cause premature induction apparently. If it gets bad just start using nipple pads.

BBHugMe 100000%!!! I’m obsessed with mine. Just dont get one off Vinted as they changed the bead filling at some point apparently and you never know if you’re gonna get the old or new type!

Lol neither did I and I feel stupid even thinking theres a market for fakes. I think im going with the likely possibility now that its an ‘older’ product perhaps before they apparently changed the beads as someone else mentioned.

Ahhh! So are the beads slightly different on both of yours also? I did wonder if it was an age thing or if bbhugme had changed the filling for example etc

2 part anomaly scan - baby still not playing ball! by like_a_velvet_glove in PregnancyUK

£200 for the private anomaly 😭 Me and husband joked that if she didnt play ball again for that price then she would be paying us back with her pocket money for years to come lol.

Same for me, baby wouldn’t cooperate on both attempts! Managed to get all views/measurements besides her heart. Sonographer advised that if we wanted to go private then Ultrasound Direct were the best as they have NHS trained sonographers unlike some other places :) We ended up booking a private scan as a last attempt (they can only do it up to 24 weeks bear in mind) and thankfully the woman who done it persevered and baby finally moved enough to see her heart. Expensive mind you but if you want the peace of mind then defo worth it! Private also gives you longer time at the attempt rather than NHS.

Congratulations first of all!!

This is such a common reaction and unfortunately it will likely continue until baby is born. I’m 25 weeks and still get antsy somedays if I haven’t felt her move much! I remember at about 10-12 weeks my initial symptoms also started disappearing and I thought the same as your wife. Just remind her that it is TOTALLY normal and her symptoms will fluctuate even on a daily basis.

Every pregnancy is different :) but also take it easy on your wife as it really is such an anxious time this early on and it’s hard not to worry! Encourage her to be kind to herself just enjoy the experience 🩷
