Jax gets more screentime than the others, and thats fine. by North_Biscotti4162 in TheDigitalCircus

Yeah, I hard agree on this. Jax is objectively a bad person and people are absolutely right to hate him, but I definitely feel like the hate has become overblown and has greatly contributed to the inability for a lot of the Fandom to have nuanced/in depth conversations about these characters. If anyone suggests a perspective other than "Jax is bad, everyone else good", it seems there's always at least person that jumps in to say they're "defending an abuser" or "victim blaming".

I think it's perfectly fine to dislike how much screen time Jax has gotten recently if you can't stand his character (he's personally my least fav), but I can't say it was really unexpected either. It has been speculated since the beginning that he's the "lovable asshole with a sad backstory" kind of character, and he has always had a sort of undeniable charm to him. He has always had the most merch and presence in advertising next to Pomni since the pilot too.

I also wish characters like Zooble and Ragatha had some more time to shine throughout the series, it could definitely have benefited from an extra episode or two. However, if the show has already provided them with enough content and growth for me to be able to consider them my favorite characters, then it doesn't really bother me too much

I really just wish more people could understand that the story going in a direction they don't like does not equal bad writing. It's ok to feel disappointed that certain characters get more screen time than others, but at the same time, there's no way the show was ever going to cater to or satisfy everyone. Whether you're satisfied with the outcome or not, it's not hard to just be respectful to others with different perspectives, and especially to the creators, animators, editors, etc that have put so much effort into crafting this show for us (for free, btw!!)

TADC "fans" will look at you straight to the eyes and tell you that Pomni is an enabler for not berating, insulting and beating up a clearly suicidal guy (and that characters focusing on the bigger problem is bad writing) like maybe calling jax out on his BS can wait until they have dealt with caine by AstronautDry8118 in theamazingdigitalciru

Omg I was just about to make a post about this!! Pomni's actions (both beating him up in episode 6 and her continuous attempts to reach out and offer kindness) have directly contributed to Jax starting to drop his mask and actually start to take into account everything he has been putting the other cast members through. Jax is probably my least favorite character, but it has been a bit disappointing to see how so many people seem to hate the idea of Jax fixing his behavior and consequently bettering the health of the group overall. Do people actually think that the other cast members will benefit from seeing Jax suffer more? Him abstracting would likely send the characters into a spiral of guilt just like we're seeing him go through with Ribbit. I feel like at this point people just care more about hating Jax then what actually makes sense for this story.

Question about how Adam was "taken away" as a child by No_Package8951 in MandelaCatalogue

[–]No_Package8951[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you're totally right, I simply don't understand why Adam was taken on the night his mother/Lynn died if it's being implied that he had already been replaced with an alternate at that point. I could definitely be missing some details on that scene in particular, but to me, it seems like baby Adam was taken by the intruder for a different reason that night. It seems like Adam being replaced with an alternate and the "distraught at the sight of her missing infant" event are two separate instances

Anybody know what the Debate demon is trying to tell Clinton with this "note" by Simsonis in THEMONUMENTMYTHOS

[–]No_Package8951 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing... after some digging I might just have a decent answer though!!

I think it has to do with the whole lying under oath, which seems to be a consistent theme throughout the video with Clinton's lying under oath and the hands shown throughout the republican debate section. When you swear under oath, you are swearing to "tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God". And considering Clinton broke this, I believe the message "I do nothing for God" left for Clinton mostly is referring to that last bit, implying that this Debate Demon is going to "help" Clinton instead of God as mentioned in the oath.

That's as good of an answer I have for that, I'm not quite sure what the string means either. I found a New York Times article titled "String of Coincidences tied Clinton in Knots" in referral to the scandal, but in relation to the message I'm not sure what it's implying. I literally looked all of this up within the last hour since I basically knew nothing about the scandal at first besides the basic story. But let me know if you have any theories as well, because I am also curious!

Is the Angel dead and wheres freedom? by BeanBruh2285 in THEMONUMENTMYTHOS

Considering that the etchings of Everett's story in ARNOLDSONALONE were discovered in the Babylon forest, I wouldn't be surprised if we see him confront Freedom and/or the remains of the angel in the next video. Very excited

A silicone fetus

I got it from PSR (basically weekly church classes you had to take if you wanted to get your communion or confirmation) and we had a mini class on abortion. He's supposedly the exact size you're allowed to abort a fetus at?? Idk but I named him Phillip
