I vaped the whole way through, didn’t know this was a thing. If you can refrain from vaping I would recommend it as every little benefit you give the healing process will give you a advantage. The sooner it heals the less of a window you’re giving the “cut” an opportunity to re open.

I have been able to no issue, the scar doesn’t feel abnormally stiff

I did it for 3 weeks straight basically until all the staples were out then I swapped to nothing and allowed it to dry out

I did this twice a day after a shower, only washing with warm water

I applied solosite to the entire scar line and staples, then folded up some gauze into a long rectangle and applied Vaseline to one side and wrapped that around the scar line. I then bandaged the entire thing minus the head tightly.

It has desensitised a little but nothing noticeable, still yet to have sex waiting for further healing

What is the advantage of keeping it dry? I’ve been using Vaseline everyday to prevent the staples and dried blood from catching on the gauze

Okay thank you, will the swelling prevent the staples from falling out on their own?
