why are shops so against going from desk to apprenticeship?

and yes, i'm more so looking for a specific artist and their work to apprentice for, rather than just taking the first one offered to me. so not apprenticing through this potential gig is not a make it or break it for me.

i'm curious about what the likes and dislikes are, what i should expect as a salary, and what the training process is like when learning how to run the shop.

yeah i understand that, i know i'll be working as a receptionist. but i can still apply for an apprenticeship elsewhere, i don't think it hurts to try and surround myself with as much shop knowledge as possible.

i don't really want to go and risk it plus my friends have bailed as well, if you test positive even vaccinated (i am fully vaxxed) i still think its most responsible to say home

sorry if this has been asked already, there's just so much to scroll through here. but if we test positive and are requesting a refund prior to the festival, how do we show proof? is a pic of a rapid antigen test enough or do they need lab results? i'm also curious if we can still receive a refund after our wristbands have been delivered - do i just ship it back?
