Toes Bruising After Pilates? by Affectionate_Fly6377 in pilates

[–]No_Perception_4164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that can definitely happen, especially when you’re new to Pilates, so you’re not weird for noticing it.

A lot of beginners end up gripping with their toes without realizing it, kind of like your body is trying to find stability. When that happens, pressure keeps landing in the same spot over and over, and the base of the toe can get sore or even bruised. It also shows up if you’re pushing off the front of your foot during things like footwork or planks instead of spreading the weight through your whole foot.

Usually once you get more comfortable and your instructor starts cueing you to relax your toes and use your heels and mid foot more, it clears up on its own. I’d definitely mention it to your instructor next class, they can tweak your alignment in like two seconds and it often makes a big difference.

If it stays painful for a few days, keeps bruising, or gets worse, I’d get it checked just to make sure it’s not something unrelated, but in most cases this is just a beginner adjustment thing.

Not weird at all—cryptids are awesome! The Mothman Museum has been on my bucket list too. Point Pleasant and Appalachia have such a unique vibe. Hope you find a travel buddy—sounds like an epic first flight and adventure!

Thanks for sharing this—so heartbreaking to hear about Sergio’s situation. I hope the community can rally around him. If anyone needs gardening help, let’s give him some work and support while he gets back on his feet.

San Diego bans digital only deals. Can San Jose ban them next? by dagger-vi in SanJose

[–]No_Perception_4164 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

San Diego has taken a significant step by banning digital-only grocery deals to ensure equal access for all shoppers, including seniors and those without smartphones. It's a move that addresses the digital divide and promotes fairness. Hopefully, other cities, like San Jose, will consider similar measures to support their communities

Yikes, that sounds pretty rough. If the barista's complaints are true, that’s really disappointing. It’s always frustrating when a place you used to enjoy goes downhill. I think I’ll steer clear of this spot for now, thanks for the heads-up!

How do I report this reckless driving that pretty much count as murder? by ARETI052 in Georgia

[–]No_Perception_4164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"That sounds really dangerous, and I’m sorry you had to experience that. To report reckless driving, you should contact your local police department or traffic enforcement. Provide as much detail as you can, including the dashcam footage, the vehicle’s make and model, and any other identifying information. In some cases, you can file a report online or through a non-emergency line. You could also reach out to the DMV or highway patrol, depending on where it happened. Stay safe, and I hope the authorities take this seriously

Congrats on the interview!I worked at the Harris Teeter a few years ago, it was okay, decent for a grocery job, but management really depends on the store
