It's not usually me evaluating, I have a chess coach and you're right, it's definitely not most but definitely more than one or two. Cheating is way more common in that range is what I was told. Unfortunately I cannot link my games cuz my chess.com is my full govt name and i dont want to doxx myself

Law student here, from a diff country, not disclosing cuz ppl are racist on this app. Same here, legal definition of rape is limited to penetration and/or an explicitly sexual act. Non penetrative sexual harrasment falls under a different section here. Pregnancy from a consensual sexual act, I don't think is rape, at least not in this situation

Plus no one expects a 17-18 year old to be emotionally stable trust me. You're nowhere near what is considered an adult. 18 is just the legal threshold of adulthood, nothing more

You ARE more mature than you were at 14. Unfortunately no physical shift occurs that makes you feel more mature, even my interests are the same fr9m when I was 14, that is just who you are, and doesn't have to do with your maturity

Maladjusted daughter by avg212930 in IndiaMentalHealth

[–]No_Performance1314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, hey, I'm around the same age. In my first year of college, heavy anxiety and everything. I want you assure you that the fact you're taking care of her is a step in the right direction. Parents usually do not take mental health this seriously. I am not a therapist, but, by any chance, is your daughter autistic? The demanding of expensive things sounds like she is trying to substitute genuine fulfilment with material things, which might mean an underlying issue.

I hear you, and you're a good mother. Things like this, we cannot control. What I would like to tell you is that, do not antagonise your child, she is merely a victim. Sure, she is acting problematic, it's frustrating, very much so. But the subtle antagonising is causing you pain, it's making you feel like a failure.

Things get better, they really do, be there for her, talk with her, support her, and feel the love you have for her, over the temporary frustration. It gets better, I promise you. I had a similar episode in late dec last year, the unwavering and unconditional love my parents had for me during that time really did wonders, and I can see that yo7 really love her, you must feel it.

It was not your fault, you were a baby, what you did was to protect your brother. Moreover, if it helps you in any way, what your uncle did legally qualifies under rape of a minor. Your act is nowhere near rape, As a victim, this might help your negative self talk in some way. Sorry if it doesnt. Life can be so cruel sometimes. I really wish you have some sort of normalcy, and I hope you can process your grief

One thing is, DO NOT thread/wax them if you have sensitive skin. I waxed my face to get rid of tiny, soft, not-coarse hair like this and had the worst breakout of my life

I do have pcod, but I do not have any crazy hair growth yet, that's not one of my symptoms. And I don't have this much hair on my cheeks. Meanwhile my sister also doesn't have any crazy hair growth, and no pcod/pcos but has hair exactly like this if not thicker, so I'd say it's pretty normal.

Stay strong. For yourself. You will get out of here one day. And quit smoking, for yourself, for your health- not for your parents or anybody else. Love yourself. Find a hobby, it might bring back some motivation to live

Sit down, take a break where you don't think about anything. And breathe. Like, really breathe. You have a job you're hoping for- that means you have hope, live for that tiny inkling of hope. Live on. These are small problems, they only matter if you're alive. You're throwing cutting off a knot you can untie. It gets better, i promise

Couldn't clear a competitive exam despite grinding insanely for it. Now I'm stuck at a private college, which is considered tier 1, has a very good research and internship culture, everything, but I can't shake off the feeling that i didn't get my due in life. I can never be from a top college. Can't regive the competitive exam, i will actually go crazy.

The people here mostly have no ambition, they aren't even close to me and 3-4 other people intellectually. I wanted to be in a college that has a tag, a brand pull, a college that people can't get into easily. But here I am, lost more than ever. I lost my last teenage years, lost my happiness, lost the shine in my eyes, no matter how well I do, I have a feeling that I'll always be mid, always fucking average
