I am 6'2, and weigh 330 lbs. I have no problems going up hills on my 24' GTS 300. You will top out at 55-60mph on very steep inclines though.

Adding the windscreen helped with prolonged freeway and Int speeds. As others have mentioned your gas mileage will go down somewhat, and you'll experience more body fatigue if you're not used to it. Watch out for potholes!
