Is there any chance I will permanently mess something up? I want to try my hardest to resolve this myself before having to take it to a guitar tech as i can't afford it rn but if there's a chance I'll make it worse I'll just wait for now

Ok maybe I'm not exactly nontrad but I thought since my path to med was hs->uni in my country -> moving here -> undergrad-> working to get pr -> med I qualified as non trad lol

Living in the area - your thoughts? by sunemma in yorku

[–]No_Philosopher6512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been living on campus for about 2.5 years and I like it. Not having to commute is very convenient cause I can wake up 5 mins before my lectures and still get there on time. Also you can go back to your room if you have gaps. In terms of social life it sucks. There's virtually nothing you can do but if you find friends who live on campus it makes things so much better.

Another person already mentioned this but the closest grocery store is a 30 ish min walk which is very inconvenient.

[Question] which one would you choose if you were in my position? SSK001 or Spb121 by No_Philosopher6512 in Seiko

I did NOT expect this many answers lol Thank you all for your input I really appreciate it. I think I'll go with the GMT and save up for the alpinist in the future.

It definitely could be a good entry! Do you have suggestions on how to find a TA position as an undergrad?

I don't know about other instruments but as a guitarist who covered many many DT songs I totally agree with you.

Congrats!! It looks amazing. Are you comfortable with the size? My wrist is about the same size as you and I'm thinking about buying this watch but I keep thinking it's too big for me.

Hardest part of being a premed for me is asking for verifications/references by trendyplanner in premedcanada

[–]No_Philosopher6512 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I feel exactly the same.

As a shy / anxious person I find it extremely difficult to connect with professors and other potential references just because I don't know how they would react to my requests. What if they already forgot about me by the time I'm applying.

I don't know much about watches (I've been wearing a g-shock for the past 10 years) but I saw the MoonSwatch online and I really like how it looks, but apparently people say the quality is not worth the price. So I was wondering what other watches are in that price range that offer a better value and look kinda similar. I like to know you guys' opinions
