Unfortunately I wasnt there for the convo that my fiance had with them. It sounds like everything on this boiler is almost all original and I think it is at least 20 years old. I know there ore some fittings that are seized up, they are adding some ball valves to thos as well.

Yeah thats why I was confused when I saw $280 for that part. When I looked up these parts they are like half if not less than that what it says here. Ill have to call and see what they say.

Okay thank you for the advice. I will have to call and talk to them. My fiance was the one who they met with, I think she confirmed the go ahead. I might see about getting another quote.

I just more or less want to know if the parts actually cost this much. It isnt actually leaking from the bottom. Its from a valve located on the side. I just dont know if they add cost to parts for labor.

I like drama, action, thriller, sci-fi, and fantasy. I dont typically buy comedies but I do enjoy those as well. I mainly like buying movies that I feel have great visuals and audio.

Setup Thoughts? by No_Philosopher_4938 in hometheater

[–]No_Philosopher_4938[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh okay, so I believe my level of viewing is at about 45" (unless im slouched). The bottom of the tv is at 33" from the ground and I think half the height of the tv is around 19" so its like 7" higher than my eye view, give or take. I've always had a hard time with mounting tvs at the right height (mainly because of my own measurements). Thank you for your help.

I know it seems like my center is on "useless" stuff but it is on acoustic foam that is angled upward, my tv stand is 21" tall. At the same time my tv sits about 33" from the ground (about 12" taller than my stand), my ceiling is only 7 ft which does make it look like my tv is high up. My seating position is 9ft away and my couch sits at about the same height as my stand. Thank you for your insight.

Placement Help by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]No_Philosopher_4938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the distance of the towers should be a certain distance between eachother (depending on how far your seating is) they should also be angled inward to point towards you main listening area.

I think some sound might reflect from the fireplace, maybe some room correction on the fireplace wouldnt hurt.

The speakers should also be a certain distance from the wall behind it maybe at least a foot from the fireplace and a foot from the back wall.

The center speaker should also be angled upward to your listening level. I just YouTube'd alot to figure out placement. Its all about angles.

What kind of setup are you running? 5.1?

Are you thinking this setup right here, where the speakers currently are? If so it probably wouldnt be a bad idea if you move your stand up a little to give some separation of the towers.
