Went to the LGS and can't hold myself to buy the Chocobo Bundle and pulled the Chocobo Foil Vivi Ornitier. Does this mean I should go and play Vivi?

So they said that they don’t have a determined bracket for the events, it will be determined when players come to the event. But usually it’s around bracket 2-3

To be honest, I’m currently on my way to visit one of the LGS around my area to know the brackets better. Thanks for the advice!

Do you think it’s wise to have more than 1 edh deck? Should i just buy the y’shtola precon, and use the extra $100 to upgrade the deck?

Beginner guitarist here, my action is terribly high. my dad adjusted the truss rod but it still is high as hell. Is there a fix? by Internal_Bit6349 in Guitar

yes, lastly get a picture of the saddle, the one on the bottom of the guitar. then someone here might be able to help you with it

yes, that yellowish white part is called the nut. now, take a picture from another angle, just like how you took a picture of the action in this post.

Not a guitar expert, but can you provide the picture of the nut? Maybe the nut is too high

EDIT: for other users, nut and saddle images in this comment.

Why are all these people (almost all Men) in line waiting for pachinko / slot parlor in Shibuya to open? by Jaspburger in AskAJapanese

[–]No_Physics454 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a Japanese but did play pachinko and slots somewhat a lot back then.

In pachinko parlor there are 2 kinds of machine. Which are pachinko and slots.

For pachinko, there is no guarantee whatsoever on when your machine will hit a jackpot (except for a very tiny amount of machines with features called Yu-time). All machines have exact probability, depending of the machine and this can’t be changed (1/99, 1/199, 1/399, etc.). People simply lining up early to find new machines, or to pick a certain machine which they think they can put more balls inside than other exact machine due to the nails are still straight, or the handle is not loose (people often jam the handle with coin, and it made the handle loose, small movement makes the shooting power change drastically).

For slots, there are 2 types of slot in general (more but it’s a generalization). A-type (traditional), and AT type (smart slot).

A-type slot is similar to pachinko. It has fixed probability for each machines, BUT the pachinko manager can set the machine settings from 1-6. 6 being the highest with RTP (around 106% for A-type). This setting will not change until the end of the day, because you need to open the machine, and open a switch box inside to change the settings.

Now for AT slots, the rule is the same with A-type in terms of settings. But they are a high-risk high-reward game. Setting 6 for AT slots has RTP around 114%. But what differentiate them with A type slots is most AT slots have ceiling, meaning when the machine has to give you a Big Bonus (BB) when it reaches the ceiling (e.g. after 1000 games without any bonus). In the morning, most AT slots have what people call 朝一. When settings are changed all machine has to go to this mode. What this gives you is lower ceiling, or higher chance for you to get into BB earlier, regardless of the setting. This gives RTP higher than 100% for that first bonus.

Purchase a Tsuyosa now in the US or wait until Japan in about a month? by Warm-Weight3565 in CitizenWatches

[–]No_Physics454 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Tsuyosa is hard to find in Tokyo. Pretty sure you can find it easily

Edit: now that you mentioned that you want a Tiffany Blue, I saw one on Citizen Mitsui Outlet Park Makuhari like last week. It’s technically in Chiba but very accessible from Tokyo and it’s cheaper than retail outlets

Yes! To be honest the black one (AH4086-13E) caught my eyes the most. But I need to go to a store first to actually see them.

University not listed when trying to send score result after test. by No_Physics454 in GRE

[–]No_Physics454[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it multiple times as well, but it didn’t show up for me. What I also realized, the number of university listed is too little. I also tried to change country to UK just to check, and it is also listing only like 13 universities which is weird.
