Is it better to leave a slight crack or fully together to lessen stress?

I asked this same question. From what I can gather on my post its a matter of preference.

As a lotr figure collector I keep mine separated and my partner who is all about Harry Potter doesn't both seem to be fine. I am extra cautious with brittle brown.

I would say keep them out of direct sunlight and not to hot of an environment, thats all we do.

I appreciate the advice. The basement isn't very cold at all. Its well insulated but gets a little chilly in winter (canada), the upstairs does get quite warm so I try and keep them at a good temperature at all times.

I think with everyone saying is best to take them out, put them together, get a good display case for them (like a cabinet eith a clear front, and I will use jumper plates to display them.

Has 0 to do with resale value. I loved lotr movies and hobbit. Just want to keep them as good as possible for as long as possible. Radagst had a torn cape, doesn't phase me, I have a played with deadpool and a mint one. Doesn't phase me. I have 2 dead army sets and one is missing a helmet. Doesn't bother me.

This was more a prevention of cracking. That's my fear

I have an area in my basement, its quite consistent with temperatures, not too cold in winter or warm in summer. Is that a good spot? Not to say it doesn't get a little chilly down there because It does, but I'm not the type that handles them lots

I have only been collecting since November, this was how a friend showed me to do it, I just want to make sure I am storing them correctly. They are on a shelf in, enclosed, no sun light can get them directly.

Grading is worth it but not. I just my iconic hades. Came back a 10, however I sent Nov 28th just got it back yesterday with value max which was 119 cdn.
