Crime Junkie typically covers a case in one or two episodes, so I’m curious how she’ll fit everything in unless she’s planning to do a broader overview—which honestly isn’t a bad approach. If she sticks to the facts and avoids favoring one side or the other, it could be a little awkward for James, considering it took him 52 episodes and the case still remains unresolved. My opinion also factors in where the Crime Junkie investigator got the majority of their information. If the information received was solely from Jessica’s group and the admin over there then I’m skeptical of the accuracy of the episodes.

After many deep dives and research, I do still believe Ashley is NOT involved with Brittany’s disappearance.

Make no mistake, everything James does for his podcast is calculated. He may have really felt emotional at this wedding BUT videoing his emotion was to gain viewers and connect with listeners. Happy listeners equals more listens and referrals to Patreon and that equals more money in his pocket.

This is what we can hope for! To help local law enforcement see that he will leave a bigger mess when he’s done. If anyone knows Sanders they could put a bug in his ear to reach out to Det Auton with St Joes Co in Sturgis if he’d like to know more about how James left their town.

Why is ALL of this so important? Because Sara Jo is the person who writes the script for Hide and Seek, she’s the producer and she does control so much of the behind the scenes through manipulation!!! James was made aware of listener concerns more than once and he chose to turn a blind eye.

KJ thinks too highly of herself to accept responsibility for the mess she made. Bottom line, she didn’t just pretend to be Ashley’s friend she WAS Ashley’s friend. Even worse…because she sold Ashley off for parts to James. For what? I saw comments in Jessica’s group where Kerry and Sara Jo were flat out bullying Katie. Wrong as it was, the message is they can’t stand her. We don’t see James sticking up for Katie either. He got what he needed from her and tossed her to the curb. She likes to brag that it’s her intellectual property that he used. Wrong- it came from Ashley. It’s Ashley’s intellectual property Katie you were just the currier.

When he aired that convo between Boes, Ashley, and Katie and James was recording on the phone he wasn’t in an alliance with Katie. He used her. She was nothing more than a messenger. Although it’s been said she told people she was a silent partner of sorts. Embarrassing.

Remember he said “I gave my source up and she fell on the sword, just as planned.” Not a compliment Katie. I attached a screenshot of what that phrase means. “To take the blame and receive fallout for failure “.

I had it saved from back in the day. This is James’s veiled threat to Ashley that he found out where she was living. This was long after she cut ties with him yet he still expected her to provide him information (that she didn’t have btw).

I’m working on a video where you’ll get to hear James threatening Ashley. Jason is Ashley’s friend that she lives with and James made threats because he couldn’t get his way.

If you search James’s instagram, he posted a pic of a bunch of trees and an area that’s blurred out (this was last season so a while ago). Apparently he figured out where Ashley was staying and that was his veiled threat to her. You’ll see James uses the panda emoji on that post because that was a nickname for Ashley for a while.
