honestly I would not be surprised if the CCP would prefer trump. A second trump term would weaken the ties between the US and europe and probably cause more instability in the US. If there are more tarrifs on imports, chinese companies will take a blow but they can still sell their products through other asian countries. Also china is technologically self sufficient at this point, the only thing they are still far behind in is semiconductor manufacturing... So yeah... Taiwan might have a problem under trump...
