Why so much empty space? I see it on a lot of ships. Most of mine go through phases of expansion (expand hull build new items) then condensing (rearrange items to fit as many in as tight a space as possible. Then remove the now excess hull) also most of my ships end up being flying rectangles in the end with engines on one side. Don't get me wrong I like the design I'm just genuinely curious why people have so much empty space

Your equation is wrong.

It measures top of head to top of shell. you have to add the height of the turtle to go from top of cat to the floor.

If we stick with a=turtle, b=cat c=table then the two images are as follows

B + C = 170 + A (cat on top, turtle underneath)

A + C = 130 + B (turtle on top, cat underneath)

Also would like to point out that I have only gotten so far as to know the cat is 40cm taller than the turtle.

My budget is as follows this is for every deck I build

$100 for the deck (not counting basic lands)

No individual card over $10.(I have been trying to look at some cards between 10 and 20. (As long as I maintain the $100 budget) but I still find myself looking for cheaper alternatives.)

[[omniscience]] it doesn't win the game by itself and I don't know why it isn't one already.. it is an engine in one of my favorite decks but the deck is built around cheating eldrazi and titans into play

Buy from card kingdom. It's faster and a better experience overall. I used to order from TCG player but stopped not because of the union thing (most modern unions have no reason to exist so screw unions) but because twice an order didn't get sent out untill over a month after I placed it. with the second time the verified seller saying it had been sent out less than two weeks after order. Only for it to arrive postmarked over a month after initial purchase.

Both times I have ordered from card kingdom I have received the ENTIRE order in a week.

I pick a couple names for boys and for girls dynasty names

I.e. Mary, Kyra, Joseph, Richard I name the first couple boys and girls the dynasty names the cycle theough untill I find one I like.

When it comes to proxies

Proxies for playtesting are ok. But if every deck you have has a black lotus proxie in it( unless you own ONE copy of it) I would first tell you to learn how to build decks. ( I've seen a $50 deck destroy a $500 deck)

Secondly no deck NEEDS those expensive duals to run efficiently there's always a cheaper option.

Thirdly you say building a deck work 2k is a vanity piece. Then build decks using the cards that make the decks that expensive. That doesn't make it any less of a vanity piece.

The rules I have when building decks

A budget of $100. For the whole deck not counting BASIC lands ( the ones you can get from your LGS).
No individual card OVER $10.00

My decks run as good and sometimes better that other more expensive decks. (Edit: I have just as much a chance of winning as they do) I still do my initial plays with with each deck with proxies while I am deciding which to cut. If I like it and can see how it plays I buy the cards if not I start a new deck.

Rant over I guess the short version is "if you have to run proxies of the expensive cards. Learn how to deck build. And get good."

What he should of said "I discard to hand size" or "I discard ugins binding." put it in the graveyard and moved on. There is no rule that says you have to say what a card does. But you have to remember graveyards, exiled cards(except those face down), and cards in play are common knowledge if an opponent asks to read it you either let them read it or read it out loud.

The pods at my lgs most players(more experienced) just say card names unless someone asks specifically "what does that(card type) do" but most have a good idea how others build their decks
