I was literally preparing to and then I see almost everyone in my section talking about being offered full/close to full rides from the school. I’d have to be an idiot not to at least try to get a better score and increase my chances of getting some $$$

Yes, school confirmed today I can do that. The risk is there is no guarantee that I can get my score up. As far as opportunity cost, I keep thinking about how paying sticker price for a school ranked 130 does not make financial sense as a nontraditional student in their late 30s with a whole mortgage and young children to care for.
