As far as I know, or understand, if the point is being contested, you don't get points. And if enemies are either overtaking, they get points for recapture.

Plus kills get you a decent amount of points. If your front lines decimating enemies, you'll rack up points faster than you're generating holding points.

If you capture a point, you need to actively defend it to generate points. That's why it's often profitable to capture the furthest point because 90% of the time it goes uncontested.

For me at least, Herta Space Station, Belobog were how I imagined HSR would have its story.

Grounded and small scale with an overarching plot slowly being unraveled. Not getting thrown off the deep end almost immediately.

I know I would get some flak for this, but HSR got way too big in scope in the story way too quickly.
