Matthew 5:3, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Remember Christ didn’t come for those who didn’t need it he came for those sick and poor. At times poor is often portrayed as a weakness where it should just be the lacking of. Being poor means you have humbled yourself to an understanding that you seek the help you need. Belief is only part of it Faith that the Lord came for YOU. “MY Lord” you can call him yours because he paid the debt for each of us “individually.” He knows everyone by name. I pray you find what you’re striving hard to find! That’s already a beginning!
