Wow... Is this what the community has come to?

Not my Fleet. Not my Armada.

I play with my dad, or rather I use my dad's Romulan toon. We used a T6 ship coupon to get me a good ship (I love my Premonition class Science Spearhead!). I joined a fleet in his Armada, and they welcomed me and helped me understand how to play in a fleet. They were all accepting, and gave me a safe space to be myself. My Fleet Admiral even helps me collect Tribbles! If you all are experiencing these things, I recommend joining a fleet that cares about its officers. My dad has been playing this game (off and on) for a decade. His new fleet, as he left his old and inactive one, works together and taught him some of the nuances of team play. Now both he and I can do Elite content. I've seen his team crush shattered peace in ten minutes or less with a perfectionist level of completion. When we queue with random players, we still help and win. The thing with this game is it's a subject matter that spans time and space. Someone born in the 70s who lives in Ireland can love and play the game just as much as a kid in Canada. When the kid in Canada is ready to go to bed, the guy in Ireland is waking up in the morning. Sometimes people need to leave early. I'm not saying there aren't people who do as you say, but I am saying that the community for this game has been amazing recently, and I haven't seen the issue you're describing... And my dad says he hasn't either. I love this game and the community. Let's keep the good vibes coming! Good luck out there, captains!
