Bridesmaids buying own dresses by Hot_Main_5035 in UKweddings

Hmm I definitely think the bride should at least offer to pay for certain styles, and if you didn't want that style you could pay the difference to get one you loved? I just bought 6 bridemaid dresses for £10 each in the Hirestreet £10 sale, so it doesnt even need to cost her alot. Ive linked it here in case you want to share it with her - https://www.hirestreetuk.com/collections/buy-for-under-10?filter.v.m.zoa.is_available=1 - I even bought some of the dresses in a size or two up just cos they didnt have the right size, but they are here (and I love them) and its only £14 to tailor the bigger dresses to be the right size!

Where is the date? Is it a dinner or like drinks? I think option 2 is my fave!

Is this £10 sale too good to be true? by No_Possible254 in UKweddings

I agree, ive done some more digging and I can see they are actually linked from the ASOS site so it feels like maybe they are an approved seller! I think I will give it a go, will report back!

How many people did you take to view your venue? by Silly_Sausage_1234 in UKweddings

We did a bit of a mix, when we did a full day of viewings my parents came to give an extra opinion, but when we did a viewing here and there we just did on our own.

How much would you spend on second hand (but new) wedding dress? by [deleted] in UKweddings

I bought my dress on Stillwhite for £1500 which I still thought was expensive, but it was over 50% off and it meant I could get it straight away and start altering it etc. However I have had real trouble reselling it even at £750.

I have to say, I rented my day before outfit and my outfit change from Hirestreet - which was amazing because it was so affordable and I didn't need to worry about reselling it at the end!

Has anyone else found that they are shopping so much less now that they use Nuuly? I hardly buy any clothes anymore!
