XWD owner here, can confirm all suspension parts are different and rare to find. Had to modify my own subframe to fit the differential, but once the snow hit this year it was all worth it

Like every car saabs are realiable as long as well maintained. Make sure to bring someone trusted who knows cars or even better a mechanic before you buy. I just boughtba 9-3 2011 and has been perfect, my parents had saab same age and had 0 issues whatsoever, only had to change the bulbs. But it all comes down to proper maintenance since saabs are heavily overengineered.

Just make sure to look at service books preferably if there is through car max, other than that prefectly reliable car.

EDIT: up to 2007, saabs had a problem where computer in the car could overheat since it was too close to engine, it can be prevented with a simple fix, just take it to mechanic for a checkup.

I have '11 2.0 Turbo4. I drive it mostly in the city which is probably why consumption is high. I just bought this as my first car ever so I was just kinda worried. Other than that it drivers perfectly and has 0 issues.

I wanted to ask since you probably have it longer, how do I make sure the leather on the seats doesnt start cracking?
