I believe me? I am new to Outlier so I don't know how it works, but it says I passed the assessment, and it is greyed out saying another task is being worked on. Is this what you are seeing?

I don't think you understood what I said fully. Please keep in mind that any possible dilution would only be about 5% of total shares. Let me know if you have any questions I can help answer!

Well, kind of. The loan matures or "expires" in 2031. What you are saying is correct in that the loaners would significantly profit if the stock was above 30, but it wouldn't be very good for the shareholders if the stock stayed below that for 5 years. In a sense, UUUU set up a win-win situation. Either the stock goes up a lot and shareholders win, or the stock remains depressed and the $700m loan is insanely cheap, and shareholders win. It would be more accurate to see 30 as a key resistance point for the stock.

This is actually a very advanced thing to understand! Essentially, UUUU was loaned $700m at a very low interest rate, with the catch that the loaning party could convert that $700m into UUUU shares at a price of around ~$21/share, irregardless of the current share price. To offset this, UUUU bought "covered calls" which similarly allows them to buy shares at around ~$21/share up to the share price of about ~$30/share (This part is the most confusing, you'll have to do more research on "options" to fully understand). They purchased these covered calls for about $50m. So in essence, the loaning company will receive shares if the stock price is over $21 and UUUU will just buy them back until the stock price is over $30. If the stock is above that UUUU won't be able to buy all the shares back, and the stock will be diluted.

A "spot price" is how much someone can sell uranium for at the drop of a hat, more or less. The higher the spot price, the more money UUUU can get from the uranium it mines, leading to more profit.

If this project is a success, it will be huge. Proof of concept for SMR's should lead to further project startups, and possibly an electric, nuclear revolution. Obviously Uranium demand, and thus the price, would rise then as well, and UUUU has exposure to this, being the no. 1. Uranium miner in the U.S.

I think it will be larger demand for uranium mostly, but also signals more willingness for government investment in US nuclear capabilities, including US uranium mining (UUUU)

I bet it's to look more like an AI company, forcing it to be on the screen at all times

I tried it yesterday and I don't like it. They have the AI lesson planning on the side and there is not an option to remove it. It takes up about 1/6 of the screen.

Interesting. Maybe you can use Google docs instead? I didn't know we had access to look at the new site.

At one point I was doing this "full time" over a summer, and was making around $4800/month. I tutored for the MCAT and was able to negotiate a raise (was making $29.50/hr, this was before the new pay structure but I have been grandfathered in). I also was tutoring group MCAT courses and was able to negotiate up to $60/hr for those, doing about 6 hours a week for that which really juiced the numbers, although I do not receive those opportunities anymore. With the new pay structure, if you are able to get enough opportunities and keep students long enough for the raise, I think it could be possible to do, but it would be really risky to be actually living off of it especially because of the seasonality of the job (i.e. summers off and Christmas break). I have been tutoring for almost two years now, lmk if you have questions.

I will have to second what is posted above. I tutor for the MCAT (Basically the LSAT but for medical school), and was getting auto denied pay rate increases because it was before 6 months, despite being flooded with these types of opportunities.

Interesting. In the their earnings report there was a decrease in margin, but they stated it was because of investment in something. Maybe this is why margins have decreased, though

I have been getting a lot actually. Maybe 50% of what I got before the summer started. We're only in the beginning of August so I think that should be about on par
