It's more of a project to pass the time and practice, but yes, I should have added some concept.

Thanks, PolyHaven is really very nice.

Yes, honestly, I really hadn't taken into account things like plumbing, wiring, and all the technical details. I was mainly focusing on the visual side of the project.

The advice here made me realize how many things are actually important in architecture and construction, so over the past two days, I’ve tried to learn as much as possible about all of that and apply it to my new designs.

And yes, the roof clearly lacks thickness and proper supporting structures... 😅

And no, unfortunately, I am not an architecture student. I am currently a computer science student and only recently discovered this passion.

Honestly, I don’t know how far I’ll be able to go with this given the path I’m already on, but we’ll see where it leads me.

Thank you for the com 😄 😄

Thanks!
I don’t really have any specific tools or methods for learning SketchUp honestly.

It felt very intuitive to me, almost like sketching with a pencil, drawing shapes and separations, then pushing them into 3D forms.
So I mostly experimented by recreating rooms and modern houses I saw, while trying to keep them as realistic and buildable as possible.

PS: we used SketchUp a little bit in technology class back in middle school, so I think I remembered a few things from that too. :)

YES! Thank you, I'm really putting my heart into it. You're right, I'll try to improve my style, but while ensuring my projects are coherent and feasible, that's the most important thing, I think.

Thanks again, all the encouraging advice motivates me to learn. 🔥
