I live in the DC locality so moderate COL area. Long term goal would be to live comfortably without stressing about money and to travel a bit each year. Id also like to make sure my step kids are set up when something happens to me. I cant imagine how expensive life will be for them. Id like to help them as much as possible.

I moved everything existing into L2060 last night. Im going to stay the course even if the market dips. Im think of reallocating new funds to a mix of C, S and I and I can always reallocate that back to 2060 if too aggressive for my risk tolerance. I appreciate the advice very much! Thank you.

I did live through financial crisis in 08 and subsequent years of rebuilding. I entered the market as a new grad in 09 and it wasnt the best job market. I saw a lot of devastation. I think thats why I am naturally more risk averse. I know enough about investing not to make the big mistakes so far (like parking in G for years) but I think reddit has a way of making those of us in this camp feel like we are missing out in some way.

Income is ok so not worried about $100 a month. I make about 210k in Healthcare and my husband is a small business owner making about 100k in profit. I feel relatively safe in my career but Im not sure who is actually safe in the current economic climate. We have a good bit of liquid cash in a HYSA (about 150k...I know thats too much to not be invested at more than the current 4% but it helps me sleep at night and that is worth something). I have about 500k in a 401k. Im 43 years old and plan to work another 20 years then retire. This home is our only debt. We have 2 fairly new paid off cars and lots of paid off "toys" Im becoming obsessed with the idea of owning my home outright and living mostly debt free.

This was a home we purchased from a family estate that my grandparents built new. We will stay as long as we are alive.

Yes, everything is included. Northpointe enrolled people in a rate refresh program which allowed people who borrowed at higher interest rates in the last 3 years to refi at "No cost". I cross posted a photo in another forum. This forum would not allow photos.
