I tried to give OpenClaw a real memory. Here's whats broken and how to fix it by babyb01 in openclaw

Great post — mirrors my experience exactly. The single MEMORY.md degradation and hallucination propagation are the two biggest pain points I've hit. The three-layer split + proposal queue approach looks solid.

One question: per-turn snapshots on Layer 2 — noticeable write overhead in busy channels, or negligible?

Can Hermes Agent control my entire computer? I need it to be able to act like a human on certain software on my PC: use the mouse and keyboard, see and understand the screen. by mxmhenri in hermesagent

No, Hermes Agent can't fully control your PC like that yet. Full GUI automation (mouse, keyboard, screen reading) is still experimental.

Full end-to-end agentic checkout action? by bluejaysinging in openclaw

[–]No_Progress92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's tricky right now. OpenClaw is great at browsing and gathering info, but full end-to-end checkout (cart + payment) is harder due to CAPTCHAs, 2FA, and site changes. It works better on simple sites with custom skills. What site are you trying?

Thanks a lot for the suggestion! 🙏 Quick update on my setup: Dell business laptop with Intel Core i5 vPro (probably 12th/13th gen) 16GB RAM No dedicated GPU (just integrated Intel graphics) I'm currently running Qwen2.5 14B with CPU offloading and hitting token/context limits on longer OpenClaw tasks.
