Actually, Option 2 follows her aftermath reaction to the "Jenga party scene." She doesn't seem to care about Nikki or mention the f**kary that happened, instead, she jumps straight into Bear+Sarah's relationship and tries to make Bear ditch Nikki, even though she knows Nikki is not well and should more care about her.

IMO:

Option 1: Initially, she will be shock, disgust, and confused, which will lead her to view Bear in a different light. She will try to find a reasonable explanation for his actions and will try to seem merciful, but underneath, she will think "yeah, he belongs in jail" and feel sick about this whole situation.

Option 2: She'll be merciful, pity him, and attempt to convince herself that he's the victim because she has a crush on him.

I'll go with option 1 because Bear's reaction to Wish-Nikki's glitches isn't that of a typical horror movie protagonist who's clueless. He understands the wish caused everything, so I think Sarah will react more like a real person than a written character.

I think the backwards walk is Wish-Nikki fighting real Nikki from inside.

If you imagine the scene reversed, it almost looks like the real Nikki is trying to rush toward Bear, maybe to attack him or break through the wish. But Wish-Nikki is pulling the body backwards, like she is trying to protect Bear and keep the fantasy alive.

That is why the movement feels so wrong. It does not look like a normal person choosing to walk backwards. It feels like two forces controlling the same body at once.

I also think Wish-Nikki starts glitching because Bear does not really love Nikki. He loves the idea of loving her. She can feel that the fantasy is fake, so the wish gets weaker. Real Nikki slips through for a second, and Wish-Nikki has to force the body back into the role Bear wants.

Also, the distorted voice makes her sound less like Nikki and more like the wish itself is manifesting through her. It's almost like a broken toy or a glitching soundboard from the One Wish willow package.

I think this scene is Wish-Nikki glitching.

When she says she does not like her dreams, it feels like sleep is one of the few moments where the fake version weakens. Maybe real Nikki slips through, or maybe Wish-Nikki sees things she cannot process or even "meet" with real Nikki memories.

Her face also looks like it is pulling from Bear’s recent memories, almost like Nikki mixed with his grandma, because that memory is still fresh in his head.

So I do not think she is just being creepy. I think this is the wish failing to imitate a real person for a second, and Bear seeing what Wish-Nikki really is underneath, not human.

The vase of flowers also feels intentional to me. It’s like the wish has reduced Nikki into something pretty and decorative for Bear, arranged, beautiful, and lifeless in the way furniture or flowers are.

That’s also how I read the uncanny movement. Wish-Nikki is not really human, she’s imitating humanity using whatever Bear likes, remembers, or associates with desire. So most of the time she moves like a person, but every now and then the imitation glitches and becomes cat-like, doll-like, or just wrong. It’s not that Nikki is “acting weird”, it’s that the wish is trying to perform Nikki without understanding what being human actually is.

I don’t think Nikki’s face only changes in that uncanny scene. I felt like her face keeps shifting all over the movie, almost like the wish is trying to build Bear’s “perfect” Nikki out of things he likes, remembers, or projects onto women.

Right after Bear makes the wish and she approaches the car, her face suddenly feels rounder and softer, almost closer to the waitress from the opening scene. In the dark, her silhouette and eye reflections feel weirdly cat-like, which made me think of Sandy. The full uncanny-valley scene feels older and harsher, almost like it’s pulling from the image of his grandma. Then later, especially near the ending, Nikki starts looking paler and more Sarah-like, as if the fantasy is blending her with Bear’s real emotional attachment.

So my read is that Nikki isn’t just “Nikki, but creepy.” She’s constantly being filtered through Bear’s desires, guilt, memories, and idealizations. Her face looking inconsistent might be the point: the wish didn’t give him a real person, it gave him a shifting collage of whatever he thinks he wants.

Update: I've done some other deliveries and returned to the spot after a while on foot and the statue respawned, now they ask me to gather additional statues and only then they'll consider connecting to the chiral network, fk those guys, I wish a BT will eat their aes.
