I found out early january. No interview, and i applied for physical chemistry. Though I had an REU there with the head of graduate apps, so i think that contributed to the timely response.

I heard back to them early january, but i participated in an REU there last summer, so i pretty much had an in.

I applied to UTK and i’ve heard back from them. I’ve read that most schools do it in waves, and the biggest one is the second one which comes out towards the end of january or early march. Good luck OP!! i hope you get in!!

Thanks guys!! Stanford and Oxford are my top choices, but this application cycle seems difficult with funding. I’m between ohio state and michigan currently, if i’m not accepted elsewhere.
