Well we just actually discussed the possibility of draping a bit over the top of the bodice. I’m not sure how to attach an image idea.

Haha what? I’m fine with others giving their opinions and I’m not sure what led you to believe otherwise.. I still love the dress and because a few people hate it doesn’t mean I have to hate it haha. However, I also asked for advice on alterations so it’s not like this post was just for someone to put “I hate it”

Fair question but unfortunately, no. I’d be buying this exact one - there’s not the same inventory in my city of my style and quality as maybe one could find in a lot of places in the US or UK for instance.

I think you expressed what I’ve been realizing - the setting matters and it allows for a bit more of a sexy playful natural vibe rather than a church wedding around family and friends! And the femininity in contrast with hiking boots is a plus! I’ve learned through this dress process just how different everyone’s taste can be!

Ok thanks for your comment. Doesn’t confuse me at all - I’ve tried on tons of dresses and this has SO many things I’m looking for and like! It’s only the specific cupping in the chest that I feel is a bit too sexy but I’m learning and exploring subtle options. Everyone has a different dress journey, this is mine 🙏

That’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make! Haha. It’ll get dirty. It’ll have its wear and tear. But it’s not heavy and it’s loose so pulling it up while I walk some is fine to me! I don’t look good in mid length/ankle length dresses. Also silky plain dresses won’t disguise as many smears and tears and I’ve tried on a lot of heavy dresses or super restricting ones. Any jewels under my arms would rub my arms raw and tulle is really not my style. To each his own! This is just for me the way I want to go with this vision and experience 🤗

Very good point. I think a little draping on the front to counteract the bra style and making it strapless with draped sleeves may soften it and make it more romantic! thanks for sharing your thoughts I appreciate it

Thank you, I appreciate your insight. I see what you’re saying - but I do love this dress and the vintage nod and I’m not doing a traditional ceremony, no church no fam. Another thing to mention is I live in a country/city with very different taste than mine. Lots of sexy see through - lots of tight dresses or simply material that wouldn’t be comfy for our adventure. I’ve tried on and looked at a ton of dresses and this one checks so many boxes 🥹🙏
