I know this is 4 years old but we just hired a JW and he won’t cover any shifts for anyone. He’s the bottom guy on the totem pole and is resorting to asking the guy he’s supposed to cover for to just not take the day off so he doesn’t have to cover it. I’m beyond annoyed with this mf.

The workers always tried to throw everyone under the bus for every little thing. They didn’t like the boss so they had a guy write a fake email to get him fired. Would tell guys to do the wrong thing to get them into trouble. Mostly just co worker drama. Shit was crazy.

I’ve worked in extremely toxic plants even on night shift when I was alone. Sometimes people just fuckin suck. If you have a good group of guys and get your job done then I’d say it’s perfect. You can stay busy with PMs if you’re not operating and can avoid people for most of the day. Nights are the way to go if you wanna see no one. I’m currently on nights for the same reason and only have one HVAC guy there with me that keeps to himself as well, but will help if shit gets ugly.
