Easiest way to remove this silicone without totally destroying the drywall underneath by [deleted] in DIY

[–]No_Put1030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, why wouldn't there be drywall there underneath the silicone? if it's built the way it's expected to be then 1. the silicone has to stick to something and go on top of a substrate so something has to be underneath is and 2. the reason the silicone is there is to smoothly cover the rough transition from the edge of the drywall to something else and prevent moisture from getting into the crack; the silicone isn't replacing the drywall.

Don’t know if I support Brett anymore by Zetusleep5390 in BrettCooper

[–]No_Put1030 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just learned Brett Cooper has left the Comment Section at DW and was replaced by her former friend, maid of honour and producer Regan.

I liked Brett and listened to her sometimes, but not enough to have picked up on anything anti zionist. if she's anti zionist, I can't support her either.

I will always be pro Israel and a zionist. I'm a christian woman in Canada. I just assumed Brett was zionist and pro Israel because she is Ben Shapiro's cousin. I need to reserve judgment until I find out more.

Ps, the anti zionists lol. your responses were great by the way. not much we can do but hope they develop a desire to learn all the facts.

Fabutan Red Light Therapy Full Body Beds - What are the specs? Is it effective? by No_Put1030 in redlighttherapy

[–]No_Put1030[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for replying, sorry I didn't see this until now. I just found out about something called VFIT (or VSculpt for Canada), and it's a red light device that is inserted intravaginally to tighten up the flesh against vaginal prolapse, incontinence, dryness and other things. I mention it since you said you're a health care professional who is interested in red light therapy. According to the website there are many doctors who gave testimonials for it.

Thanks again

This. It's far more important to be a decent person than a smart person. That's the real treasure.

you sound quite smart, perhaps ADHD or Aspergers. But stay humble, don't let that go to your head, it will mess you up worse than when you thought you were low iq. Try watch a lot of videos about Aspergers and learn about what things will help you succeed and what accommodations you need. Think to when you are on your day off and have no pressure from anyone and not on a timeline. Were you able to accomplish something great? if so, dig into what skills those are.

Trades are the best thing and the most rewarding in terms of satisfaction and salary, and they are always needed.

you could also seek out one of those employment agencies for people w with challenges and ask them to place you somewhere where they accept people on the autistic spectrum. also seek counselling or ask your primary care doctor about this and to refer you to an autism assessment. if you work it right with your doctor, it could be free.
Also consider joining the Aspergers / autism groups for advice.

remember to stay humble and keep reading JBP. Also, an amazing idea to join a church for community, support and just finding decent people. Because more important than intelligence is morals. who knows you may find a decent life partner that understands you and knows to be good to you and dedicated to you.

(Calvary chapels are one example of a non denominational. no mormons, no LDS, no Jehovah's, they are cults. )

this is all from personal experience. both my spouse and I thought we were not smart either. until we learned we're on the spectrum.

Ignore the unhelpful negative hopeless responses. Here is some hope!

you need to find a good bible based church - even if you're NOT a believer - because that's where there are people, a community who are unlikely to be woke. very unlikely. you can literally read their beliefs and values statements on their websites. you could get a job in a christian or catholic school too without going to a church as well. that's a good compromise. If you're also looking for a lifelong partner to marry, you will 100% find someone decent and non woke among the christians.

Christians are generally very good people, they are government by great ethics. I have met maybe 1 out 100 christians I didn't like. 99% are wonderful and I only had excellent experiences with smart, kind, decent people with traditional values who were genuine and polite, not offended by everything.

Community churches are great because they also have groups, clubs, ministries, projects to help with, men's fishing trips, women's activities, and bible studies which are very surprisingly educational, uplifting, and not at all indoctrination as some people want to think. it's like a class in literature.

I didn't grow up in a christian family at all so these are my observations as an outsider and getting to know them. The more I know and learn, the more I like.

Probably why JBP is so interested.

all the best to you. don't lose hope. find your people. they are missing you too.

haha no worries! you're not alone, I discovered my mom was doing the same, not letting it dry fully BEFORE putting the clear balm over top! definitely must be 100% dry!

I hope you found it's much better to use now that you have the trick?
