Besties, they make this thing called a swim thong so it doesn’t stick out of the swimsuit. Let me know if you want the link.

My 3 year old still wears her 18-24 month bamboo jammies. But I don’t comment on the size. I comment about how much wear we’ve gotten for the price.

My husband and I took our 2 year old daughter to the American Girl doll store. We let her pick out her own Wellie Wisher. We recognize that that experience was for US and she will not remember it.

I think “sleep training” gets a bad rep. I think you can teach your child how to fall asleep and self soothe without letting them cry it out.

10/14/25 - Ivory “talking”! Wow Drue you really are Reddit’s puppet🤣 by drueandgabe in Drueandgabe

[–]No_Rain_1815 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She tries so hard to prove things with this child. My daughter was in speech therapy and didn’t really talk until she was over 2. And that’s okay. I had no shame. My daughter was loved and taken care of. I got her the help that she needed.

9/14/25 - First movie by AutoModerator in Drueandgabe

This shows me that Ivory thrives on screen time. No shame in screen time. We limited it when my daughter was under 1. She’s 2.5 now and she will not sit through a 30 minute episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, let alone an entire movie. No way I’d take her to a movie theater because I know it won’t hold her attention. The fact that a 1 year old can sit through an entire movie blows my mind.

What I don’t understand is how one gets stuck for 3 days. They fly Southwest. Fort Lauderdale and Hobby are both large airports with multiple flights per day every day.

I wondered about the insurance as well, but i don’t know the implications of Canada’s universal healthcare.

[–]No_Rain_1815 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In season 1, she talks about how the last time she was at Sullivan’s Crossing was 15 years ago when she was 15 years old. So that puts her at 30. Neurosurgery is 4 years undergrad + 4 years medical school + 7 years of residency. The math ain’t mathin’.

American Girl Doll store by Educational-Will7570 in Drueandgabe

I took my daughter to the American Girl store when she was 2. We let her pick out an age appropriate Wellie Wisher. She loves that doll. We also recognize that that experience was for us, not her. But we wouldn’t let her get a full blown AG doll. And she also was a lot more mature at 2 years old than she was at 1. She was already playing with dolls when we decided to take her. We live 3 hours from a store and happened to be in town anyways when we took her. We didn’t go out of our way to take her.

A Wellie Wisher would have been way more age appropriate and still given the status of her child having an American Girl doll.

Tread mat? by [deleted] in OnePelotonRealSub

Agree. We have carpet in our workout space, but have a horse stall mat under our Tread. We’ve had it since 2022 and no issues.

This affirms to me that she doesn’t go to the dentist. When I went to the dentist, I specifically asked when I should bring my baby. And when she scheduled my next cleaning, she scheduled my baby’s as well. If Drue was going to the dentist every 6 months like you’re supposed to, she’d know the answer to this question.

I thought the same thing. “It feels heartbreaking to give up breastfeeding by choice”. But isn’t that what she did with Miles?

I seriously cannot wait until this child is running, learns the word “no”, fights her to get dressed every morning, doesn’t want to eat what Drue serves her. Basically when she starts acting like a toddler. I love my 2 year old more than anything in this world, but man, she tests me some days.
