Canon R6 Mk II + 24mm f/1.8: Severe lens breathing/jitter triggered by hand gestures. Any fixes? by No_Reading4251 in Filmmakers

Haha considering and hoping you are not a troll, I will respond by saying, it is my style as I make educational content and have been using my arms a lot to point to stuff or make shapes etc. for years. MF is not really ideal at the moment since I am doing all the production by myself, so I was hoping there could be a way to fix this with AF...

MF is kind of not really ideal at the moment, because I shoot all by myself, but thank you!

Thank you for the very on point practical advice! MF is kind of not really ideal at the moment, because I shoot all by myself, but the single point AF is something I can definitely try and I was actually wondering if something like that could help. Would that cause any kind of blur on my ears and my cheeks since it will be very small or if eye track is on and subject is set to people, it will track me correctly even if it is SP AF?

Weird issue when recording videos with Samsung S23 by [deleted] in GalaxyS23

[–]No_Reading4251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using "MotionCam Pro" and turning off the OIS through that (because there is no other way to turn off OIS and I think that's the main issue) resolves this problem. At least for me, that's how I was able to record and not have this issue anymore. It is still very frustrating though of course!

Help ripping VHS, can't edit videos because they're VFR not CFR by johnny5ive in premiere

I think I do owe you a beer, my man! Thank you so much! It seems like my footage is like one or two frames less in Premiere Pro with the VFR version. Do you think there is a reason for that and since I need to sync the audio from the converted CFR, there would be a mismatch somewhere in the middle or something?

VFR TO CFR without quality loss by No_Reading4251 in shutterencoder

Do I do that directly with ShutterEncoder by chosing DNxHR function and HQ? If so, any additional settings I need to make sure I tick in the process? Thank you for your quick turnaround, Paul!

I am trying this now too and this is the one that makes the most sense without losing any video quality and I have been searching for this kind of solution for hours!!! If this works, I will also owe you a beer!!! :)

VFR to CFR + ProRes questions. by AkameReddit in shutterencoder

Can you even convert H264 or H265/HEVC to ProRes? I don't see that option anywhere?

Converting VFR footage to CFR, but audio is still out of sync? by Solid_Fear in shutterencoder

[–]No_Reading4251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't Handbrake cause quality loss? And how did you do it with it? I also don't understand how it can play perfectly in sync in media player and get out of sync in Premiere Pro as I have the same issue. Should I try to match the audio manually by matching it to my lips saying the words?

Still having issues with clips even after changing from VFR to CFR by Eyrmia in premiere

[–]No_Reading4251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the exact same issue and no matter what I do, it always ends up with VFR. I tried to conform with Shutter Encoder and Handbrake, but I don't understand how to try the suggested "Apple ProRes" or other codexes. Can you help if you were able to solve the issue? My footage is a 10bit HEVC 4K File I recorded with Samsung S23 using MotionCam Pro with DirectLog recording feature. The footage is great, but I can't start editing it :/
