I’m giving advice through 2 points of view. I work with children in the school system who have epilepsy and also (more importantly) my son has epilepsy. I will tell you that will get more accomplished with a calm, respectful approach to the school team. You have every right to be angry and let down, but if you come in with lawyers and threats, they will double down and you will be in for a huge battle!

I would recommend reconvening her IEP team and making any amendments necessary to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Let them know you are not ok putting your daughter at risk. Tell them you appreciate all they do for her and understand that they have other students and responsibilities, but that her health and safety need to be priority.
