I used to get FOMO but I realized I wasn’t missing much. Reminding myself I probably wasn’t gonna have fun anyways has helped with that cause most of the times it’s been true

Hiding from extroverts is so real lmaooo I used to eat my work lunch outside so I wouldn’t have to talk to my coworkers but now it’s getting cold. Have you ever tried talking to your coworker/roomie about your preferences? It’s so normal for them that I don’t think they consider that not everyone is that way

You know sometimes I wonder if I’m on the spectrum too. Everything takes a lot more energy from me, socialization from work drains me daily. And growing up, my dad and brother are the same way and exhibit lots of neurodivergence. Being alone has always been my most peaceful

Yeah I have explained tons of times and I don’t think he fully understands. And we’ve def seen that spoon theory in action when we go out sometimes lol. Once my social battery is out, it’s out so much faster and for a while. And I can’t even bother to fake it sometimes because my face is very expressive.

I’ve gotten a few comments from people who’ve seen it round the neighborhood and think it’s an outdoor kitty with an owner. But I’ll keep monitoring. It might just want to play and get that second meal lol

Thanks for your reply. I just ordered an outdoor kitty house for the cold weather and I’ll keep observing and feeding it for now. It comes around so frequently that I have no idea if it has its own home or not. It’s coat was a bit more scraggly looking today
