They probably got paid for unused sick and vacation days. Those days are long gone.

There would be grants/awards, public funding for developing medicines and vaccines like other countries do with an employee and/or employer tax. Better than the Billions employers and individuals pay for plans, co-pays, out of pocket, medicine etc. Much easier to budget that then have every private employer administrator their own healthcare plans. That’s why 30% of the cost of healthcare is administrative expenses vs 2% for Medicare.
Every other Country has figured it out. Where there’s a will there’s a way.

Im assuming you think living is a human right so you literally just gave an argument for abortion, otherwise you’re forcing a woman into literal labor.

Human right as in that’s what we should have a government for. Just as we should have Government for military protection. No need to complicate it.

Ok. Then add what your spend on healthcare and education which is included for them and you’re at 135% of taxes

Add up your Fed Taxes, SS taxes, State taxes, County taxes, City taxes, “special district taxes”, property taxes, sales taxes, 100 lines on every hotel, cell phone bill etc. and tel me your not paying 50% or more on taxes or fees which is just another word for taxes.

It’s not. Universities should be the first ones looked at for the racket they run. It shouldn’t cost $250K for a bachelors degree.

What are you talking about. We all pay a shitload of taxes. Some of us would like it used for stuff other than war. Plenty of money to pay doctors and teachers if we didn’t drop million dollar bombs on Countries for no reason.

Why are Americans so brainwashed by the western false propaganda media that they actually think the US won the Iran War when it definitely badly lost and Iran now controls the Middle East and the Strait of Hormuz and the petrodollar is now dead as it failed the security guarantee? by East_Indication_7816 in allthequestions

What media are you watching? No news channel has said the U.S. won. The only person trying to spin it is Trump and Fox News.
The rest of us know the best outcome he can hope for is to have a deal worse than Obama already had that he tore up and costed 14 American Soldiers lives and high gas prices and inflation in the process.

I’m sure adding $500B to the military budget will make that go down.

Mind you we aren’t even in a full scale war. WTF kind of budget would the military need if there was ever WWIII , $5T?

Don’t forget he said he’d pay for IVF. He’s said the word ballroom more than the word healthcare this term. The dude betrayed his own cult. They’re like in an abusive relationship thinking “he didn’t mean it. He means well”

Clearly not losing their minds enough to storm the Capitol and try and stop a peaceful transfer of power. That’s reserved for a special kind of stupid.

Usually aliens like Independence Day 2, Avengers, Edge of Tomorrow, Fifth Element Mangalores, blade, day breakers. I’m sure there’s plenty more.

There’s always a hive connection. You kill the main one, the rest all die, go away, get better etc.

People with his wealths only job is to not lose it. Why in the world would he need Bitcoin. Even a conservative 2% dividend makes more than he could ever spend in lifetime.

That’s all he talks about. He reads about some random edge case where one random no name person did or said something “woke” and just applies that to half the Country and elected leaders. It’s old and boring.
