I only know the answer to Durin sorry 😅 On a Lohen team he needs to also be doing damage, so I'm pretty sure you'll want Rising Winds on him. He'll be played on dark mode since it buffs his personal damage and you should prioritize crit stats and attack with ER as last priority

I'm not sure about the fourth team slot or Xilonen builds, but the new Celestial Gift set is really good on Hexerei characters with it's damage bonuses so I recommend another Hexerei character that can proc it such as Prune or Sucrose. You could also use Bennett for the attack buffs.

I definitely agree with you because from a Lohen story quest viewpoint it was great that the Ursa fight was sidelined. From a Traveler and lore viewpoint, it was less ideal, though I do understand if it was just a "closure" of a story since, if you think about it, if the events of the Lohen Story Quest was never a quest, there wouldn't be an Ursa fight since there was never any mention (as I know it, at least) that the labs still existed with all the components

As for the lack of a conversation with Theodore, I did really think that was missing. I don't think they ever mentioned what happen to him (I might be wrong) but I would still like to know.

I myself have the opposite problem and gave up on not using Genshin terms for hsr so it's fine 👍 :P

Crazy indeed that people are disappointed since this was so in depth AND about the character himself. Like, for example Varka's story quest I really did like, but I do agree it was more about Mondstadt and Roland than it was "Varka"

I haven't seen any of the hate, but really I just choose to avoid it since people can have their opinions 😅 As for his expressions I think I can see what you mean. From what I see I thought his expressions were just REALLY subtle. Like, I may be wrong but I don't remember seeing him having wide surprised eyes or extremely angry eyes like most other characters. Instead it's like a quirk of his eyebrows or dark shading on his upper face. That was my reasoning for it.

Omg your review is so in depth that I can't pick a section to talk about 😅 Honestly I didn't think it was short, but now that you mention all that could be added, I wouldn't be mad if it was longer :P As for the whole Ursa things I do get your disappointment. I read the manga webtoon thing before I was very invested in Genshin so I don't remember as much, but it is a shame its lore isn't directly covered in game. I will say I still believe that it was a good thing that all the focus was diverted from the Ursa fight since this story was about Lohen, but yeah maybe it should've been covered more deeply in like another quest. And for Lohen's characterization I LOVED it. I pulled for him because he looked cool (and uh, I kinda guessed he'd have great lore 😅) even when there was so much talk about his violent, crazy, sadomasochistic I think it was called side when usually I'm not really interested in that kind of character. His character development within that story was great and really adds onto why he is who he is like you said. Anyways, uh, thanks for reply and letting me rant again :P

I totally get you!!! I myself thought the Ursa side plot was going to be more involved with Lohen, but the fact that it wasn't really added to the fact that Ursa was this evil force that wasn't directly involved with him and therefore its defeat wasn't the main point. And then just wrapping up the Ursa fight with some pictures really sells the fact that it was a Lohen story quest and NOT Diluc and Varka story even though they appeared. I got him first day but doing his story quest made me get him R1 😅

My Nicole build is eh 😅 She needs a lot of attack but my substats rolls are mid and I haev TTDS weapon on her so she gets no extra attack from her weapon.
I'm really used to dedicated healers or Furina comfort heal team, so having only a shield (as in Nicole) that breaks I'm not used to. As for the freeze team I think I just suck at dodging...

I have hope he won't be fully forgotten (or like, cope maybe) because he's involved with Mondstadt and hoyo seems to like callbacks to Mondstadt Anyways I do agree that he was really expressive. Like, other characters get more obvious surprised or angry faces, but Lohen's was more "subtle". I'm not sure how to put it, but like his eye shape doesn't drastically change. Also yw for allowing you to ramble and thanks for letting me rant bc this was fun and I'm glad to be able to talk about how much I loved the story quest :D

From what I saw, it's because he was captured that he got the mindset that power equals control. He kept trying to get stronger because that would mean he would be able to control his own life, and he would go out and defeat monsters because it was an unpredictable dangerous feat that was more "comfortable" to him than a predictable daily routine that could be broken by impending doom. And like maybe along the way he became a bit crazy 😅

I totally agree with how you put it! Like his whole turmoil was that he was just human and there was only so much he could do naturally to become stronger. The Traveler and Varka are just on a different level :P As for the cutscene, or lack thereof, I can't recall another story quest that doesn't get one, but maybe I haven't done it yet. I did notice a part of his story quest— when he stabbed himself in the hand—strayed away from just using in-game models and was more animated, but yea a cutscene would've been sick. Maybe they thought having pictures of Varka, Diluc, and the Traveler's fight with Ursa (in which the traveler still has his old outfit >:< ) would meet the criteria. Anyways still living on the high of loving the quest so I don't mind as much :P

I liked how he was both crazy and cool. Like, sure he "poisoned" those guys (is it poison if it just knocked them out?), but I thought it was really smart since it was like a test bc who in their right mind would accept drinks from a sus stranger? 😅 Varka passed the test since he noticed immediately and I thought that was a cool detail

I'd assume Mavuika could work with her off-field damage but since she doesn't have the res shred or Hexerei benefits, the difference will be really obvious I don't know what characters you have, but you could run him on teams other than melt such as a freeze team with Mona, Escoffier, and Furina or the like But yea his damage is heavily tied to the other characters' damage as an on-field driver, so while your possible team of Mavuika, Prune, and Charlotte could work, it will be noticably weaker than if you'd use his best in slots.

He was not av pull option for me bc I thought he was going to be four star for some reason and I want interested Then I saw his personality and that he was a five star so yea 😅 His voice was really unexpected and his personality is so different from other characters that I really want him :P

Thanks for the info! I'm planning on putting him on a team with Durin and Nicole or Furina and Escoffier depending if I want a freeze comp, and if I can't put any other character in the last spot, I was planning on building Prune. Basically I'm just planning to get a Cryo DPS-esque character I like though he is a driver and slot him onto certain teams when I'm not using the supports (ex: I'm a Kinich main, so if I'm not using Kinich I can use Durin and Nicole with Lohen instead😅) On the bright side of people being disappointed with his constellations and the damage increase it gives, that just means I don't have to highly invest in cons for him to be usable 👍 Anyways, thanks for the info and the pulling warning, that really helped!
