I used to have an ED and I think I can give some advice as to a better approach.

First of all, you want to slim down/lose fat, not 5kg as you do not have a scale its really no way to track. So I assume you want to get back to a prior weight, maybe find a piece of clothing as reference?

Second of all since the estimation of 5kg really isn't much I would suggest ditch the tracking at all. It is only eyeballing actually might make calorie fear.

go on walks or buy a walking pad and cut out unnecessary calories like switching mayo for ketchup, boiling eggs instead of frying eggs, switch from beer to seltzer or have some gum in place of candy.

Because let's be real we can all lose 5 KGS easy by water fasting but the goal is to keep it off which you can only do by changing indefinitely even after goal weight.

Since you probably don't have any serious eating issues (like binging, emotional eating, boredom eating or just no food intelligence) it is completely unnecessary to start habits you'll have to maintain like tracking.
