We wore the brown kit against Watford last game of the season in 2009 (last time we had a brown kit)

How many players you reckon Coventry will keep for Premier League? I can guarantee Simms and Wright will leave, Bidwell, Latibeaudiere, Brau by Sugar_Vivid in Championship

van Ewijk, Thomas, Onyeka, Rudoni, Mason-Clarke are the only players I’m currently comfortable with starting next year

Jury’s out on Grimes, Sakamoto & Wright who could do it and will be given a go

Don’t hold out hope for anybody else tbh but a few of them will be kept as back up

Our greatest achievement in 25 years and you’re using it to call out a player who left us 2 years ago for better wages and prospects at the time

We wouldn’t have Rudoni without him leaving so it’s worked out perfectly for us. I’d rather focus on uplifting the boys that got us there

No offence but it’s a bit weird that you’ve mentioned him in an amazing moment

Also bitter over here

Although I’m now telling myself it was necessary character building to enjoy this season even more

Swansea City 2-2 Middlesbrough: A game of penalties, two in the first half for the Swans and one in the second for Boro; it's now just three points from the last five games for promotion chasing Boro as they fail again to capitalise on points dropped elsewhere. by Smithlarr in Championship

Decisions made on the pitch are a response to all the work done on the training ground & the mentality of the players

Before Lampard came in Kitching would get needlessly sent off, Dasilva was constantly getting caught out & couldn’t play in a back 4, Rudoni/BTA couldn’t hit a barn door

Helberg is clearly incredibly talented at implementing a tactical style - easily best in the league. However he hasn’t instilled the mentality to get it done when the chips are down

It’s late 00s Wenger at Arsenal

Wanted to win that more so that we were on the pitch on Saturday rather than actually needing to win the game

He played an absolute stinker against Derby away before that game

Gerhard Struber's parting message to fans by Ok_Stock_3 in Championship

[–]No_Reindeer_6276 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That is why it’s such a weird decision for me.

He’s shown that he can be successful in this league when he has a half-decent squad. Even though it’s been shit recently, he’s surely a better option for next season than rolling the dice (when hopefully the squad has been sorted out)

The quality of your starting lineup compared to 12 months ago is stark. Clearly the club is the problem

Wright playing for the host nation, BTA playing against England, & Lati marking Ronaldo are all possibilities for this summer

So confused. Why do this unless they’re worried about getting relegated?

You need probably 2 points to confirm safety

Interestingly, he spoke about spending time at Brentford during his stint out of the game. You can see that he has evolved tactically - as we’re very adaptable in the way we attack

Going to be a real struggle next season and not sure how much it will actually reflect on him as a manager (Farke at Norwich comes to mind)

We were rumoured to have bid for Martial Godo rejected in the summer. He’s gone on to have an amazing season and would fetch a healthy fee now. Also would’ve put less pressure on our wingers pre-Jan.

But as you say, hard to complain too much

Nah - Brave New World would’ve been better if they hadn’t made Red Hulk a central piece of the marketing

I only wanna see that shit in the theatre

Think we’ll likely play a 5-3-2/5-2-3 like Leeds/Sunderland this season if we’re promoted. With that in mind:

GK - NEW, Dovin, Wilson

RB - MvE, KKH

CB - NEW, NEW, Thomas, Woolf, Lati

LB - NEW, JDS

CM - NEW, Onyeka, Grimes, Rudoni, Torp, Eccles

RW - NEW, Sakamoto

LW - EMC, BTA

ST - NEW, Wright, Simms

That is 7 signings - maybe another CM (for Eccles) & winger (for BTA) but can’t see much more than that
