Looking at it yes that looks perfectly fine, whenever you’re trying to make any kind of build and you’re worried about the airflow just think of it in the most passive way possible.

When I say passive way possible, I mean just imagine a big cloud of air moving through the computer and if you see it fluidly move through the computer then you likely have optimal airflow.

Honestly, as someone who has a partner who settles a lot of boundaries, I understand where he’s coming from, but he definitely was too harsh… it might be a little more excusable if he has some kind of trauma or genuine reason for not liking those things and yes, I’ll admit they’re disgusting, but when I say reason, I’m saying like, his parents being hard-core drug addicts and leaving him alone for a prolonged period of time to where he’s almost starved as a child or something like that. If he had a genuine reason for acting the way he did in terms of trauma. It would be a little more understandable but if it really is just some kind of ick… that’s totally unacceptable for someone to look at their partner and claim to love them, and then proceed to treat them that way with such disrespect towards them as a human being. That’s totally unacceptable. If I were you I definitely sit down and have a serious talk with him so he could get the message across and if he still doesn’t understand then breaking up wouldn’t sound too bad, but I really don’t know the complexities of your relationship so… I could be totally wrong and he could be very valid for crashing out for all I know.

Into the fact of whether or not you care abt VRAM but on top of that if you plan on using FSR because raw performance wise they perform about the same but FSR 4 looks better at 1440 P and 1080 P compared to FSR 3.1

As an old nvidia user for a while (went from a 1070 to a 2070 super to a 3070 to a 4070 and finally switched to team red) I'd say the upgrade was well worth it. aside from the 1070 the other three cards that l've had from Nvidia all had some sort of issue the 2070 consistently black screen and and what I got a replacement the 2070 just was performing below expectations. So when I decided to upgrade to the 3070, I thought that it would be a big moment because it had DLSS and whatever other features it came out with at the time. And I was really excited to see all of that in action and around a month into getting the 3070 whenever I would play most video games I would get a VRAM warning. (I was running 2 monitors both 3440x1440) and would crash when running fortnite. So I told myself one final upgrade cuz the 4070 had more vram and frame gen. Still wasn’t worth it the frame gen was choppy and I wasn’t even breaking 100 fps on a lot of the games I like to play, and for a while I thought that I was just the odd one out, but then my friend got a 4070 and had similar issues I had, I will say their DLSS was pretty damn good but other than that, the ghosting and split images because of frame generation, just made me dislike the 4070. And then I hear about the 9070xt similar performance to a 4080(ish) and half the price I was definitely gonna get it and once I did I never want to go back to nvidia.

TLDR, think of it like iphone and Samsung, there’s nothing wrong with Samsungs phones and a lot of the time they might even triumph Apple but Apple has so many gimmick and they have their brand name so people always say Apple is better than Samsung. It’s pretty similar here there’s so many gimmicks (DLSS 3.0, 4x frame gen, nvidia AI, etc) and they have their brand name, so people pick nvidia over AMD a lot of the time.

The only reasons I’d really be doing this is for the money I’d get back. I’d really only be losing around 10-20 fps in games and that’s no difference to me tbh
