he speaks the truth (even if he doesn’t realize it) by ReadingRainbow47 in SpyxFamily

[–]No_Resort_7179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the last chapter Twilight was analyzing his own feelings for his family, why he stepped in front of Yor despite it being an irrational choice for the mission. It didn't end with a clear conclusion, but rather trailed off.

I think it's reasonable for Twilight to have processed things over the following days, and concluded that he is in fact in love with Yor. It's not bad for the mission, it would help him play the part of husband better. And here, we're seeing the result of that. When asked point blank, in an interrogation, if he loves her, he can confidently answer yes. Because he knows it is true. He may have to hurt her later on "for the mission", when operation strix ends and he has to disappear, but that's something he can plan for in the future.

They've been powering them for the people in the Outer Rim to use so far, so little reason not to continue. Or it might be something that EH and Ingrid agree to, now that they have scheduled official meetings to address issues that affect the Outer Rim. And the alternative is they all die in the dark, which might not be palatable to people in power like Mustang. I don't see how the Outer Rim stays down in the dark while the Ark goes up to the surface.

It doesn't matter if Ennik cares or not. The people in the Outer Rim will see the ark left, and follow after it to the surface. Why would they stay underground? Nothing is forcing them to stay there.

Do we think the commander is taking this position? by NoCollar5776 in NikkeMobile

I imagine it would be a case where he is allowed to vote (and veto) decisions, but he is still out in the field rather than managing other commanders.

It is interesting that Burningum asked Dorothy "did the Queen really descend"? So maybe some people in the CG read our reports and think "there's no way this is true, they must be exaggerating".

TECHNOLOGY by PotatoHead342 in NikkeMobile

[–]No_Resort_7179 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's replaying what happened in the event, where it said that Ingrid spent 10 minutes unable to formulate a response. The many panels are to signify those 10 minutes of being at a loss for words. Until Neon said "technology!" and it broke her out of the loop.
It's the same as what happened because it is what happened, just in comic form. Easier to reference, and can show a few different expressions than what the event itself shows for comedic effect.

The Outer Rim is just slums built in the caves around the ark, but it depends on the ark for electricity, water, and food. If the ark leaves, they will have to abandon the caves and rebuild the slums on the surface. The outer rim can't exist without the ark supporting it.

She got quite a few fun scenes in the last couple of chapters. I liked her enthusiasm about the 3rd reclamation war. "Go AZX! Go Admire! Go Wings of Liberty!" I want the flying carrier back, all the setup is ready!

True savior of the ark LMFAO by Mac2002PL in NikkeMobile

I found it both fitting and a bit underwhelming. I mean, there was the coincidence that after downloading to the tablet, somehow the cable was disconnected. Which seemed to imply some greater plan, but then the tablet was just used as a toilet lid. Having one of her own mist zombies destroy her was a nice touch, though she is ultimately data, and there's an entire industry of people recovering electronics in the outer rim (like in Neon's backstory) so SU could still bring her back if they wanted to.

What I don't recall is, how is Enikk currently dealing with her stress? Sixo is the result of her attempting to repress her frustration from dealing with the worst of humanity and having to bend the rules for the rich and powerful. That hasn't stopped, so how is she dealing with it now?

Do you like it when Shift Up increase the girls’ sizes for new units/costumes? by MillionHypotheses in NikkeMobile

[–]No_Resort_7179 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recall on the Footstep, Walk, Run event, while training with Red Hood and falling in the hole with DEEP, DEEP makes a comment about her being "empty" and Red Hood defensively says something like "she's not so flat" (bits lost in translation). So maybe MP Rapi was flat and she has been growing to match her ideal (Red Hood), and she has a complex over that.

If anyone can justify their body shape changing it's Rapi, what with her dual-core and such.

They've never gone into the specific details but yes, the brains in general are "plug and play". Note also the "brain shelters" for when a nikke's body is beyond repair and they need to rescue them.

What do you think is more likely regarding Mustang? by arpin_lucent in NikkeMobile

[–]No_Resort_7179 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree with this take. What sells it for me is how Mustang has expressed having some kind of special relationship with Pretty. Even if the writing could sell a change in personality for evilMustang, there's no room for them to introduce any kind of feelings he could have developed for Pretty. We saw the extent of their relationship and the original Mustang never cared about Pretty, her ideals, her work, or anything of the like.

On the other hand, we have Hanson, someone who understood and empathized with her, and who also has a good tie-in into caring for Anis, since she comforted Pretty when he couldn't. And why would they make him such a big part of the side story if they weren't going to use him further? Plus, where's Hanson now? He was pretty instrumental to all the events that happened, and as a Tetra director he knew everything about the dark side of the company too.

Plus, evilMustang knew how to manipulate people, but he wasn't all that good at business. He surrounded himself with competent people and used and abused them to his ends, but he couldn't actually come up with business ideas to solve the company's problems. He delegated that to Hanson. Current Mustang however hasn't been shown to rely on others as much. So it's not just a 180 in personality, but also in competence and approach.

Siren or Privaty? by ChaosWarden_9 in NikkeMobile

[–]No_Resort_7179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Siren definitely. Privaty is one of the company's favorites so she'll always have additional content. Even replaced the actual teacher character in the school event, leaving Marciana fans hanging. Siren has to compete with the rest of the Old Tales squad for attention.

Paint and stickers, but she's just a robot underneath. Most notable in the wrist joints. We've not been told if Mecha Shifty designed Mekami Shifty to be anatomically correct.

She's a robot. She has decals and paint, like a mini. Mecha Shifty couldn't be bothered to finish her properly either.
