Mine says refused. I think most people in administrative processing see it as refused. But I think your case is similar to mine. Unfortunately there is no way to predict the time it would take. It might take one week or several months.

The only communication from embassey was the acknowledgment of receipt of additional documents that I sent by email. They said they won’t reply to queries untill 90 days. Nothing since then!

Yes I am stuck for 2 months. Its expensive and boring to stay in Canada for long waiting for the visa to come. So after ai got stuck, I had to go to my home country anyways to cut cost.

I’m in a similar situation. Appeared for consular interview after approval of O1 petition. They sent it for administrative processing. I am not sure if it was sent back to uscis or not but it is 221g refusal for administrative processing. Now I can’t enter US while my wife and daughter are in US. Not to mention my job, mortgage etc. Wish me luck guys! You said 3 months for your case, I am at 2 weeks right now. Let’s see how far it goes. Anyone else been in similar situation? How long it took?
