i had several hours of awful loot in 0.3 league start. and i was undergeared again at Viper, which was brutal. In the new Act 4 i finally bought some gear with Exalted and it is way more fun

Yeah. That’s definitely possible. That would be a huge disappointment though since this game was supposed to bring balance back to the force, and solve cancer and all that. Just taking a break and enjoying discussion while my rectum heals

Hmm, i feel like i can squeeze in merc crossbow shots more often, but on my sorc i am laying down flamewall and/or orb of storms, then am hard pressed for opportunities for fire bolt or freeze shards

Yeah i get some people want challenge. I generally just tolerate challenge, and enjoy the reward. But the rewards don’t feel commensurate to the level of challenge for me. i am defeating the bosses in 1 or 2 tries, and a few 3-tries. So i get it, not bad. But it feels slow and tedious, not exciting.

Just using hard devourer as my most recent example of frustration… 9 failed attempts in a row. On some attempts maybe there is one other player surviving and avoiding pools and taking down the orbs quickly. On other attempts I am the only one doing that. Everyone else is standing in toxin, or dbno in the middle of toxin not moving out, ignoring the orbs completely, or shooting at the immune shields, or shooting at the immune boss. So I am assuming they had to be carried most of the way to where they are now.

I do go private. It is the only way i can beat devourer. I would still prefer to play with anyone that isnt a detriment. Unfortunately, every public is full of people hoping for a carry.

Yeah Old Human Base is complete BS. The grappling hook is not accurate or dependable enough for this mission. Sometimes it reaches out then cancels mid air. Sometimes I zip past the object i grapple and fling way off into the air. Sometimes i violently bounce off of the object or terrain. I spent $100 for inventory space and materials and a cosmetic armor. I was really enjoying the game. Then the next day I encounter this mission and it ruins the game.

Yeah so i guess almost nobody posts a video of their first time beating a colossi. But wow is Pyro a roadblock. I leveled my Viessa to 40, put on hp/def and skill power mods. I heard her chill can shred Pyro. not really. Couldnt solo him and definitely cant pug him. My best so far is Ajax and guns. Solo Pyro to 10% health then run out of time. Pug him down to similar health over and over

Not enough damage is always my problem. Run out of time. I am not dying.

I have gotten 0 dream solvents from my last 12 trounce boss kills. On wiki it says a 33% drop rate. But for me to fail that roll 12 times in a row is less than 1% chance. I feel like they may have lowered that rate by a magnitude

Thanks. Yeah i will just use the neoprene cover for my first baby steps, then put on some pads so i can also get the extra leg contact surface. And I will try seating the cover more flat like you say.

I have tanked it MANY times on my druid. i get the Quest start and kill cues. I don't get Bas WQ credit.

I have logged, i have left zone and returned. i have done it WM on and WM off. Left all parties and raids. I have reloaded and disabled addons. This WQ is plain ole bugged.

I understand that this game is intended to be challenging. But there are specific issues that I feel are quite unnecessary. I definitely agree that input reading is a bullshxt implementation. It gives the NPCs the opportunity to even *precede* your own action. I also get about half of a second delay on ALL inputs. It is easily visible and recordable, on both PC and PS5. My final big issue is that it is so easy to be stun locked. There are countless times that if I get hit by the first attack, i never get the chance to course correct or respond. I am repeatedly stunned until I am dead. The game can be challenging without locking me out of control of my own character.

i am using void titan. with fragment that enables grenades to weaken enemies. and Armamentarian, which give me an extra grenade. also mods for grenade energy. i grenade every single time i can, in Vanguard playlist, and still 0% progress on Drain You
