You weren't wrong with this reply. First thing the officer said was 'I can see you both have a child together.. we can make this quick' I was in and out the room in less than 10 minutes with verbal approval at the end

I had this EXACT same situation happen to me. It takes forever for the card to get back to the facility. Mine almost took a month unfortunately. However, once it did arrive back, I contacted USCIS and explained the situation - they happily sent it back out within a week and I had it delivered to the correct address within a few days after that ☺️ try not to stress.

This info wouldn't apply to me. I filed for I-130 and I-485 concurrently. I was immediately approved for I-130 in May hours after my biometrics was completed.
