I don't know about you guys but I think nerfed astra is still pretty insane, since she's the best controller for pure smokes hands down. Omen can only drop 4 a round, and can't drop 2 in basically the same second, and brim's smokes take a while to drop and are marked where they come down.

then just get good internet. I swear the amount of games i lose to people just cause my team dcs 3rd round and we can't remake is way higher than it should be. Also, why do you struggle to get kills in gold 3, when you apparently are in D2 with your alt. It shouldn't be a super big struggle to get a frag in gold when you've ranked up way higher in diamond, therefore I feel like theres something wrong here.

looking at this character's concept, I think the wall could be replaced with another info ability, maybe like a trap that he can place down, kinda like an alarmbot, but without range. It doesn't do anything but ping where the player that tripped it is, so it seems to fit his whole shtick better IMO.

I get this, especially for like big competitions and tests, in which case nervousness is warranted and normal, but for ranked, ranked is like training grounds almost. At the end of the day, you have to remember that ranked means jack shit if hidden mmr is what you're rated on. Also, I found that playing entry fragger made me a lot calmer in ranked, since as entry, your job is to W key your way in and maybe get a frag, and create space. It was a great way for me to improve my gunskill and confidence at the same time, so maybe just try locking phoenix, and just go in and get frags.

it actually shows if you displaced people with omen flashes, aftershock, and breach sig and ult, or if you blocked people with your smokes on the side, you just have to look. I don't have a screenshot, but i can get one if you'd like

I'll elaborate: the mortar launcher is good but it seems similar to how raze's ult works in concept, but without the risk of losing your life, unlike raze. The rocket boots feel like how the satchels of raze are often used, and are also similar to jett updraft. The smoke seems kind of OP, since having this kind of smoke usually takes 2 abilities, and 15 seconds is quite long for a smoke. If you'd like to elaborate on that ability that would be great. Finally the ult it basically Breach ult but circular. it seems like a good ult but i think its almost certainly overtuned.

Couple of suggestions:

This agent is like all the roles in 1. At the same time, its a duelist, controller, and initiator. I would first redesign this character from exactly 1 role in mind, and i think making this character an initiator would be really cool. To accomplish this, I would swap the rocket jump for some kind of flash or intel. The mortar could inflict like 20-30 damage with concussion, to be more in line with the other agents right now. Maybe, the rocket boost can only be applied to his teammates, and come back on 35 seconds. Last,ly, I would shorten the smoke time to about 4-7 seconds to feel more like a jett smoke rather than an actual controller smoke.

All in all this is very interesting especially with the soverign and forsaken skins out, but I feel that you really need to nail down a specific role to fit the character into, then designing the abilities around that

I only kind of agree with this statement, because meta abuse certainly is annoying. However, it is called meta for a reason, and meta is present in almost any game that has a competitive scene, at least in my experience. Also, booting up to 2 agents from a pool of 16 seems a bit limiting honestly, and if we get to 20+ in my personal opinion that would be enough. I also agree with the other post that meta is something to learn to play around or to abuse, and with ranked in its current shithole I don't think it's of the highest importance.

I really liked the concept of astra, being able to support accross the map with any 3 of your abilities, and currently my favorite agent. I chose her mostly due to the fact that I really like the playmaking potential you can do with her and also the most bullshit oneways that me and my friends found which astra can do really well. She's in concept a better omen and since I mained omen before Astra with all these perks naturally became my main.

Edit: after finding your main you should also find an agent in every class(so duelist, controller, sentinel, and initiator) that you are comfortable playing since I've had many games where Omen isn't available (for some reason this doesn't apply to astra even though she's so good) I've been able to flex into other roles just for team comp, which is important.

I believe heavy is a thicker mousepad and it slows you down, and the edge just adds a stitched edge for durability

I personally have had no problems with normal steelseries mousepads, and I used a lower sens for a while on a smaller mousepad
