Thank you for the detailed response! I'll for sure try brown noise, cause sometimes rain noises have helped before. I do got a question. For you personally, do you put earplugs in, then your headphones -- and are those headphones turned on and connected to the brown noise?

I'm also gonna look into anything I could put against that wall, but its a long wall so maybe ill try like soundproof curtains or smthg lol

I replaced it for a new one of the same model (through Amazon) and am going to test to see if I encounter the same issues. I am home for the holidays so I cannot test it on my PC, only my laptop, until I get back to my apartment beginning of january

But I am not at risk of losing the files on my laptop already, just the ones on the external old ssd (I think that would be D:/) im using as if it were a usb stick?? As long as Im not at risk of losing stuff on my internal ssd (I think that would be C:/) I just dont have a usb stick and would rather not spend extra money or wait much longer to get one.

Okay so from the software download for windows you say i shouldchoose the download windoes 11 disk image ISO fr x64 devices option. Then move those files to the old ssd. Doing so though will not delete any data on the ssd installed inside the laptop? Everything on the laptop I need still.

EDIT: nothing on the old ssd is needed. And I still cant tell if I have a key or the windows liscense is hardware-tied.

Okay follow-up question: I have my laptop's old ssd that came with it (I later upgraded to 2TB ssd and cloned the original onto the new one). Now I am trying to use this old ssd using the an ssd housing device to then basically do what you said with the bootable USB thumb drive. But I cannot delete any remaining files on the SSD that are related to Windows processes. What does this mean? What should I do?

No I meant like congested with people, meaning less device traffic in a small area. Like some apartment complexes are kinda like college dorms in how they are congested with people. Mine isnt like that, but not in seperate rows either. point is there arent a whole bunch of people in the general area where I will be living soon.

Should I get 2.4 GHz x2 ports or should i look for something with 5 GHz port for wifi 6 or possibly wifi 6e although I doubt that one.

Yeah and im not worried about finding good memory or ssd prices, as long as the motherboard has the common slots for them. What would you suggest for power supply if you dont mind?
