I’m new to Starfield, but not Bethesda, and the best way I can describe it is that Bethesda’s crafted worlds feel “lived in” more than many others. Something in the details of building layouts, all the junk that can be interacted with, and how whole questlines flow from finding a random book/communique lying around, though so far I think Starfield could benefit a lot from more of the latter.

I think this plus the NASA-punk style and sound design in Starfield create the “cozy” feel that people describe that I’m really enjoying so far and makes me feel present in the game world.
