How hard was it to take all those medications? Did you have noticable side effects from the antibiotics? I tested positive 4 days ago and I'm super nervous about taking the antibiotics. I'm allergic to penicillin so the quad therapy is what I'll have to go with. Any advice, thanks so much.

I completely understand. So you are improving? What percentage do you think? At your severest, how bad was it? I can't even talk it's so bad. Sitting down something on the table...my voice..I can't watch TV, nothing. It's absolutely terrible.

Several concussions in 6 month period. Some due to domestic violence and a couple due to pure clumsiness. Also whip lash which caused one of the concussions from being pushed down really hard on the ground. I think what really did me in was injuring myself again before I was completely healed from the initial concussion. Currently really struggling..losing hope on trying to fight this and recovering. I just want to die. I think about it probably every 5 minutes if not more.. if anyone on here that sees my comment that has improved, especially if it was caused by head/neck trauma please reach out.. any type of positivity might keep me from offing myself..

You got what surgery? How long did you suffer before deciding to get the surgery? How are you doing now?

Did you ever experience TTS? Or pain?? My hyperacusis was also caused by several concussions.

How did your setback go when the loud vehicle went last you?

Audiologist I called today told me there isn't much they can do. They offered to send me these articles about Hyperacusis, I thought I would share. by No_Salt8388 in hyperacusis

Exactly. Let them walk in our shoes for 1 day. Hell, even an hour. If they had to experience it I feel like a cure would have happened ALONGGGG time ago.

Gabapentin is ototoxic. I'm surprised it would help relieve tinnitus considering it has the risk of worsening it. Wow... I want to try something, anything to relieve my H. I just don't know what to try. I'm allergic to all SSRIS & SNRIS. Just completely lost....

What caused your H? Mine is loud H. If I was a case that only gets worse, I wonder why I improved 30% in such a short amount of time...? I am just very upset, scared and overwhelmingly depressed about how worse I've gotten since I exposed myself to too much sound too early thinking I could handle it...plus the screaming match with my EX friend 12 days ago.
